  • i live around an area where there can be alot of bad weather in the spring and the summer. i hope to get a recording of an 2001 130 or an asc

  • Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri get a lot of tornados.

  • That is one big funnel cloud!! Love the greenish color!!!

  • This is why I love Omaha

  • IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful storm indeed, I love that greenish color. Ominous skies indeed!

  • the siren sound so scary if i lived in Omaha i'd have butterflies in my stomach!!!!!!!

  • Green thst must more of a hail storm

  • Don't get me worng I looks tornadic but it must have a lot of hail.

  • I live in omaha and it was horrible, we just went on a walk with my friends and not even 10 minutes into it the sirens went off and my 8 yr. old sister freaked and then almost ran into the street, if you visit my channel I have a video the is called the weather report. I is the fake after math but the tree and gabe thing happened. I was so scared and i was so scared because we were in a 105 yr. old house. The storm was here for about 20 min. and the it was sunny?!?! I was spooked, hail dime size

  • I live in omaha.

I remember this it was scary.

    LOLZ.

  • they sed it wasnt a tornado but it was bad

  • DANG! I was in Chicago on a tour with my choir when this storm hit and I had a bad scare when we got the call that said the power was out. It was out for such a LOOONG time in some areas but thank goodness it was only out for a shorter amount of time for my parents cuz we live very close to Omaha but not exactly in it.

  • yeah power was out for a few days

  • this storm hit my neighborhood around 2:20 and i wz watching the weather b cz i heard the winds picking up rapidly outside.

and it said we were in a tornado warning and i was just like *gasp* so i raced 2 my brothers room and they were playin video games/talkin on the phone and im like guys tornado warning we should go downstairs! and hes like dont worry everything will b fine! and then the tornado sirens came on and he said "crap go wake up mom!"

our whole family was in the tornado basement!

  • Dont't say you want to I was at little sioux. I am noticing a lot of tornados and bad weather around the world I think the end is near.

  • I want a damned tornado in omaha. Ive never seen one damn it.

  • why would you WANT to see a tornado so badly? i'd rather live my life without seeing a tornado and be alive than seeing one and risking my life.

  • LOL! hiding in the basement is like a daily activity now!

  • Douglas county was so lucky to not be hit by the tornado!!!!!!!!!

    i was super scared!

  • we were not lucky and we did not get hit by a tornado it wasn't right in omaha it was in douglas county but not in omaha

  • wow i live in omaha and these storms are the only things i see im so use to it that i dont even really care...the only thing ive seen this summer is these stupid storms, thunder, lightning, and hot weather...what fun! jk...but i like to play in the rain bt what else do you expect from a 14 year old who acts like shes 5 again!!!!!

  • I don't remember a time where the weather was so bad. Maybe somethings up? Global warming? I have foot long carp in my ditch and man eating mosquitoes! (repent)

  • Nah, its the time where storms are bad anyways. It was just a streak of bad high/low pressure areas. I think all that Global Warming does is extends the area where the most storms happen (i.e. normally its april-august, but with global warming its march-september, I dont know the exact things though)

  • It started out with the weather warm. Then when the storm started moving east where I live, before it moved into Iowa, it started to get cool. The change came so quickly it seemed. I guess the heat wants to rise, and the cool air drops. That's when those clouds start spinning.

  • Yes I remember the rapid temp drop as the storm approached. You know it's not good.

  • do u remember the storm the night of the memorial park 4th of july thing we had like 80 mph winds and this storm wasn't in exactly omaha it was in douglas county just not omaha

  • there was the huge storm it had you know about 90 mph winds and up!

    it was in June 27!

That storm lasted only a few minutes, but the devestation was like horrible!!!!!!

the winds knocked down our power for four days! In council bluffs a tree fell on that car that killed 2 ppl!

our neighborhood had a tree in the street!

we got out of the basement to find out it was like a tornado ripped through! our neighbor's swingset broke into half and was on out fence!

a tree almost fell on my house lol

  • @PetsAreFamily07 the cold air rises and the warm air falls

  • I totally agree with you. But I'm not sure why it's worse this year than it has been. Everything is worse, when it rains it rains harder and when it storms it's more severe. It's crazy.

  • Tornado skies and sirens have their own built in chill factor - GAD that's scary - hope y'all made out okay - y'all have had it rough this storm season -

    *StormSpinner* in Texas

  • We've been fortunate here in Omaha. Iowa really got hit bad. The boy scout camp. Four or five young boys killed. So sad. The best of the best. The flooding in Iowa, too. Cedar Rapids. Des Moines.

  • i know omaha was lucky

  • Very sad indeed.

  • about 10 miles south of where i live 4 people were killed and 30-40 people were injured in a tornado in southern monona county at a campsite. may they be in our prayers.

  • Are you in Iowa? I know they have really had their share of tornados and flooding. Our storms always seem to move into Iowa. Going south to north.
