Can someone tell me what is the difference between 9500iX and 9500ix Euro

Is it possible to programm US version to be the same as Euro/international version?

How many people are going to have a 12v dc power source next to their computer for doing these updates? Personally I'll just take my laptop out to the car but it's still asinine to assume people can update this using their desktop.

Have to update the video now that the newer detector tools is out. It's nice not having to go download the files anymore. Just open it up, hit update, and it downloads and installs for you.

Excellent information rocky.... something had changed in the update process and I didn't have peace-of-mind as to whether or not I installed the new software correctly. They only gave me the option to download Detector Tools-- so I'm really glad they've combined the traffic database and firmware update files and created one comprehensive download all within Detector Tools. In fact, I may not even have to go to Escort's site next time around. Thanks again:-)

@apophysis7 Actually it's still two different icons, you hit one to get the traffic camera updates, and one to get the firmware. But now when you hit the icon for either one it just goes out to the internet and downloads and installs without you needing to download anything.

They email you telling you what states/provinces it effects.

My cheetah mirror is more accurate, uses liner approach rather than radius, and the updates are free. Still uses the trinity database as escort. And can still my V1 spanks any 9500i series and the redline

Can you program it not to block out police radar like the Escort 9500i and Escort 9500ix do all the time when using TrueLock? What good is a radar detector if it can't detect police radar in a TrueLocked area and all you see is a spinning satellite?

I bet you got this info from the GOL website or should I say the gay boys of lidar that try to give people the wrong idea about Escort.

The TrueLock feature is one of best ideas ever and there is NOTHING wrong with it. I am sorry but when GOL turns off k band with TrueLock thats giving people the WRONG idea.
