  • @ChristianTruthHammer yes i definitely agree.... judgement is in addition to being saved... to emulate Christ is beautiful... Jesus taught also faith without works is dead... 10 commandments teaches what sin is ... and what true love is... If you love me keep my commandments... how do we know what we should repent of ? ....

  • @JimmyBootts

Faith without works is dead is written in James. Did you check who James was written to? (HINT: James 1:1) Are you a Jew? Which tribe are you from? Don't you know Paul says that doesn't matter anyway because all are one in Christ Jesus, and he's our apostle today? Give me either:

    a) One verse in the Pauline epistles that says to keep the sabbath

    b) One verse in the Pauline epistles that says you must love God IN ORDER TO BE SAVED

  • @ChristianTruthHammer to me the whole bible is applicable teaching for me... especially if we are all one in Christ.... and you aren't really answering my questions....if you don't Love God or Jesus and keep the commandments .... good luck to ya.... have the faith of Christ and keep his commandments... we'll see you in the next life .... I hope so...

  • @JimmyBootts

Better start building an ark then. And you'd better be sacrificing animals from a temple in Jerusalem to atone for your sins. That is, if you really think the whole Bible applies to you. If not, then on what basis do you reject those two teachings and cling to the sabbath?

  • @ChristianTruthHammer ... you keep the 9.. I'll keep the 10 commandments... ;) I'm sure everything will work out fine.. Bless ya for the conversation..

  • i think the 10 commandments are the measure... we are being judged by something?? are we not

  • @JimmyBootts

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

  • i think Adam was given the Sabbath... he wasn't Jewish was he? How about the manna that fell from heaven... that they were given double portion Friday..

  • @JimmyBootts

You think? That's nice, but what does the Bible say? Give me one verse that says Adam was given the Sabbath. As for the manna that fell from heaven, no argument here. To whom was the manna given again? Oh yeah, the children of Israel (Exodus 16:3).

  • AND IN MATTHEW CAHPATER SEVEN VERSES 21-23 JESUS CHRIST TALKS ABOUT THE LAW AS WELL, IT SAYS NOT JUST THE ONES WHO CALL ME LORD LORD WILL ENTER TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BUT THE ONES WHO DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER WILL, AND I WILL REPLY GET AWAY FROM ME I NEVER KNEW YOU, YOU WHO BREAKS GODS LAW SO WE HAVE TO SEE WAT JESUS CHRIST SAID AS WELL I MEAN WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH BUT WE STILL HAVE TO GO ACCORDING TO GODS LAW.. RIGHT?

  • I UNDERSTAND WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT THATS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART THAT WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH, BY JESUS CHRIST STILL WANTS US TO FOLLOW THE COMMANDMENTS AND OBEY THE IN JOHN:14:15 AND 14:21 SAY If ye love me, keep my commandments. HE STILL WANTS US TO BE OBEDIENT TO THE COMMANDMENTS, AND WE OUTTA LOVE HIM OR OTHER WISE WHY WOULD WE GO TO HEAVEN RIGHT?

  • @adrian77oo

Calm down. You don't have to yell. Let me ask you a question: Where in the Bible does it say you must love God in order to be saved? I see:

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

But where does it say you must love God for that? Loving God isn't salvation, and if you're not saved you don't love God because you're violating THAT command (Acts 17:30).

  • HEY DUDE I AM A SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST AND I JUST HAD TO COMMENT, UMM WELL I DONT KNOW WERE YOU GETTING THIS FROM UM, BUT SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST IS A BIBLE BASED CHURCHED AND WAT YOUR SAYING IS JUST FALSE INFORMATION MY BROTHER WE GO ACCORDING TO THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT SO WE JUST DONT GO WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT BUT THE LAW OF GOD WILL REMAIN FOREVER AND YOU COMMENTED ABOUT WE DONT HAVE TO KEEP TH COMMANDMENTS TO BE SAVED WHY DO YOU THINK WE DONT?

  • @adrian77oo

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

  • SOI YOUR SAYING WE DONT EVEN HAVE TO GO ACCORDING TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS BUT JUST BELIEVE AND THATS IT RIGHT?

  • @adrian77oo

I didn't say anything. Thus saith the Lord:

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

  • Don't worry about it at all, you're obviously saved. How can I say that?

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor 2:14

    Therefore, you're saved.

  • your the one who said to take the bible literally thats why i included it in my comment applying to that verse. im sorry but i see this conversation going nowhere, but one thing you will not be able to give me a straightforward answer to is the fact that by default you are saying god contradicts his own word by saying he abolished his law and no longer have to follow his commandments. can you please explain revelation 14:12 to me and what that means to you?

  • @ibanezman1833

I sent you a PM reply with links that will give you my explanation for that verse. Come back after you've listened to the information given therein.

  • to understand colossians 2:16 you would have to understand who "no man" is because the meaning can be complete flip flopped if your referring to a brother or a heathen. notice in colossians 2:4 it says "4And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. " and colossians 2:8 " 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. " do you think its talking about someone whobelieves?

  • @ibanezman1833

Is that a serious question? Yes, absolutely. You just told me to take the Bible literally, so obviously if it says "ANY MAN" it means ANY MAN. Did you suddenly change your mind? Aside from the fact that the verse you gave me that you said I wasn't taking literally doesn't even spell out that there are two different sets of laws. That's something you inserted when you interpreted the verse.

  • Deuteronomy 4:13-14 "13 He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets. 14 And the LORD directed me AT THAT TIME to teach you the decrees and laws you are to follow in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess."

    take the bible literitally.

  • @ibanezman1833

Fine, I'll take the Bible literally. In response to this rather obscure private interpretation, I offer Colossians 2:16, which blatantly states not to let anyone judge me in respect of the sabbath days. Of course, you already knew about this one if you actually watched the video, so I don't know why I'm wasting time talking to you.

  • hmmm in this video your main argument is saying that the law was abolished. i can show you that it wasn't through scripture my friend. your combining god's commandments with the mosaic law. would it make sense to abolish the ten commandments? so we are under grace now but not the law? we can murder, commit adultery and still be saved through grace? read this Romans 6:15 15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

  • you my brother seem very lost and i sense frustration in your words. i am a proud seventh day adventist and you must not have known too much about them because if you watched pastor doug batchelors sermons on the subject this video would have never have been made. the sabbath day was only for jews....

Isaiah 66:23 "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall ALL FLESH come to worship before me, saith the LORD."

  • @ibanezman1833

Amen, that shall come to pass, but when?

  • what denomination are you?

  • @dankaptyug

I'm a Bible believer. I go to an independent Bible believing church that has "Baptist" on the sign. Since the doctrines I believe are essentially Baptist, I guess that's what I am, but I'm a Bible believer first and foremost.

  • @mydollstuff

Amen. The reason they can be so persuasive is because they have on their side so many verses that plainly teach strict adherence to the sabbath day without being ripped completely from their contexts; just partially. It's not one of those Ecclesiastes "the earth abideth for ever" deals or something the Bible only refers to once so you can't be sure about it. That's why replacement theology is so essential to SDA and it's important for Christians to rightly divide the word of truth.

  • Good study brother.

    Well done.

1 Timothy 1:8-9 "But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers."

  • @husky394xp

Amen, thank you for the comment.

  • well, i just got done with the study, and it was a blessing. i didnt know that they believed that going to church on sunday was taking the mark lol... thank God for salvation by grace through faith.. there seems to be more and more people showing up on youtube claiming that Paul was a false teacher.. thats absolutely ridiculous and i refuse to believe that.. the KJV is Gods perfect word and it is preserved for us...Praise God!!! thanks for this study my brother and may God bless you richly...

  • @igotJesus88

Amen, thank you. It's funny you mention that. I was harassed recently by someone who said Paul was a false apostle and only Jesus' words are inspired in the NT. I was going to make a video about it soon, Lord willing.

  • GOD bless!
