  • nice guitar!

  • Not bad for a solidbody.

  • @MadSpectro7 uh, those ricks are semi hollows.....

  • @MrLennon231 You mean chambered like the Les Paul, because even semi-hollows have a resonance hole in them.

  • @MadSpectro7 yes

  • this Rickenbacker 350V63 guy really sounds like the Beatles.

  • nice work.

  • 71 idiots,don't like beatles,thanks ,for yours,post,I LOVE IT

  • Bravissimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey good work man, thats bloody awesome :D

  • Nice guitar! Want to give it away? LOL

  • すごいですね!

    まあ俺のほうがうまいけどww

  • :D NICE GUITAR!!

  • i want that rick now ! where did you get it from lol

  • mascherano

  • LOL 0:28

  • i want your rick man lol

  • cool rickey.... .even townshend would never smash it....

  • What a jerk. If ya cant play thats OK, but dont "lipsync" -pick. Besides Im very sure that John didnt play that. That Chet Atkins-y type lead is vintage Harrison.

  • @whiteman866 why do you have to be a dick dont comment if you dont like waste of your time and his to do so

  • u kick ass pedrez nice!

  • Look up Anthology 4 (video) part 2 of 3 (20 + minutes long)...it opens up with the George Martin's explanation, then Paul & George's.

  • you dont have the last 2 notes of the riff......

  • how come you never reply to any comments?

  • I find it funny that Rickenbackers like that go for thousands of dollars, while I bought my Epiphone Casino for $600. Still, very nice guitar, I'd love to get one.

  • @jwateska736 yup i have a gretsch for 750

  • @jwateska736 Well the difference is that Rickenbackers are all hand made, hand painted, and put together in the United States at one location only.

  • @jwateska736 You bought the Korean verison

  • @jwateska736 Well, Rickenbackers are some of the most well known guitars out there and that is why they go for so much. Plus, they are very nice guitars :)

  • @jwateska736 True, and it is also fairly easy to make it sound like a RIC with a compressor and a bi-fet preamp that has a tone adjustor on it.

    Easy for me, anyway.

  • @jwateska736 go to th top guitar.com rickenbackers for less than 400 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @KingAdrock23 LOL, more like go to that site and get cheap, Chink knock-offs. Honestly the slants can make a lot of good guitar copies, but Rickenbacker isn't one of them. The yellow gookfaces have yet to make a good Rickenbacker copy, so far it's all been CHINK-enbacker!

  • That is a very, very sweet little guitar!

  • is that you singing?!?

  • i didnt mean that john owned it i ment that they remade it because of him but yes he didnt have this one

  • its a great video and a great guitar but thats johns 3rd or 4rth made copy . its still great. and George had a few country gentlemens and one tennessean

  • @aaronmvp0079 Actually John Lennon didnt have this version, he had the liverpool 12 string, this is the 6 string

  • @CoIeStones Don't know where you got the idea that John Lennon didn't play a Rickenbacker 325 6-string, his 1958 325 Capri 6 string was his first and can be seen in the 1st Ed Sullivan show the Beatles played in. He received 2 more 325's in Miami for Ed' Sullivan's show, one 6 string & one custom 12 string, he played the 325/6 in the Miami show, but not the 12. He had one more Ric 6 string after that after he dropped the Miami 6. He used the last one while his Miami 325/6 was being repaired.

  • @tripleJ1955 Omg.... go read my comment again. I said he uses the Gibson on this song, not the rickenbacker. Most people think after the feed back he uses the rickenbacker but he doesnt, he continues to use the gibson after the feed back plugged into the amp.

  • @CoIeStones You have a somewhat ambiguous writing style that makes it hard to tell exactly WTF you're talking about, so I'll guess that you were talking about the Gibson J-160E Electric/acoustic guitar that Lennon used in the studio to record "I Feel Fine", yea? BTW the J-160E is a 6, not a 12 string.

  • @tripleJ1955 Did you read my message again dumbass? There is no liverpool verison of the Gibson J-160E, I was talking about the Rickenbacker. Fucking moron.

  • @CoIeStones Yea I read your message dip shit, but I 'm not sure you did. You better get back on your meds junior, not only are you clueless about what the fuck I'm talking about, you don't have any idea what you're saying either. First it's "he continues to use the gibson" then "I was talking about the Rickenbacker" Which is it boy? Gibson or Rickenbacker and your incoherent outbursts don't clarify shit, they just show how far off the rails you've slid. Get some help junior.

  • good job! beautiful guitar!

  • He is a model of guitar at John? (excuse me am french and a little spake engish i am a 13 years old)

nice cover is a good =)

  • is that the exact model John used?? also which model gretsch did george use?

  • @ThePilotBuddy dude lmfaooo sell one of ur nuts thats the only way ur going to afford that baby lol trust me i want one tooXDD

  • I learned a few things on how to play like Lennon. And this isn't a good example (no offense, not that I can I can do better :P) but I watched this video:

Just stick the following after "watch" on the address:

    ?v=nFRsUydn2w4

  • anybody know how collectible that Rick is???[i dont]

  • fuckin Brazilians, why do they always have rikenbackers? i know for a fact that they're not cheap

  • The first note was the first time feedback was used on a record. It was created when Paul McCartney pushed his bass up against an amplifier.

  • Is that a 350 or a 325

  • From a old guitar guy that saw the beatles on tv from the ed sullivan show feb, 09, 1964, I love to see you new generation guitar wizards discovering and playing tunes from the greatest band of all time. You played it perfectly. John would have loved your Rickenbaker. That's what he was playing that sunday night on the sullivan show when the beatles changed everything.

  • Hey man, I'm learning the beatles tabs because of you and your fucking black Rickenbacker 350V63.

  • that is one beautiful guitar, how much did it cost?

  • @taitlawrence im not him but they range 3000 up us dollars

  • amazing :)

  • DODGY!

  • @pedrez - thanks. A beautiful guitar -:).

  • good taste in music, keep it up!

  • hahaha at 0:51

  • badass guitar

  • epic.

  • I'd tap that Ric :)

  • holy shit how much was that guitar..

  • So bad ass...

  • Bravissimo!!!!

  • Didn't the Byrds use Rickenbackers? not sure but Tom Petty does I think, jangle jangle.

  • @petewingnut

Yes, Roger McGuinn started playing a 12-string Rickenbacker after he saw George's in "A Hard Day's Night".

  • I love the way the beatles music has spread to every tiny nook and cranny of the globe. Even today, all around the world beatles records are still played with the greatest respect.

This is a brilliant rendition of one of my favourites! Great guitar as well!

I really hope you continue to play guitar with such classic songs.

Love the smiles, keep up the good work, your brilliant!

  • nice shinny guitar!!

  • were did u get that and for how much

  • that the fidelity!!!! beatles forever

  • @caulinrocker

Rickenbacker varnish the fingerboards even though they're rosewood.

  • you look like you've just nicked it lol! Great playing.

  • how much did that rickenbacker cost

  • Nice Cover Yu Look Like You Had Fun With It!

  • eaa XD

  • I love seeing how you smile when you get to certain bits of the song. Its always good to see someone who enjoys music so much. Keep up the good work. :)

  • The guitar John used for "I Feel Fine" is the Epiphone Casino. There was a sunburst finish on the instrument until John for some reason sanded it to natual color. John used the Casino for most of his performances through out the Beatle years. He can be seen with the Casino (minus the pick guard) in the roof top video. You would be surprised how many "economical" guitars the Beatles made hits with. Paul used an Epiphone acoustic guitar for Yesterday. See Wikipedia for references. Good Player!

  • @chest002: From all things I've read - including what Paul & George talked about on Anthology, John was using his Gibson acoustic-electric (Everly Brothers model) that he & George both had about that time. They had taken a break and John leaned his against his amp and forgot to turn his amp on standby, and soon the A-string started vibrating, which turned into feedback. He immediately asked George Martin if they could put that on the beginning, to which he found out he could do himself.

  • @pianorman Not the Elverly Borthers model man....The J-160 was the 1st acoustic electric gibson made..and well there are many theories and how it was created but no one knows the exact story..it remains a mystery to this very day

  • @pianorman it still sounds good on the ric

  • @pianorman what i head actualyl was that paul played the A on his bass and john or george stood close enough to the bass with his pickup (when pickups were magnetic and highly active) and it picked up the buzz through his amp/

  • @nofxrulez1 : All I'm going by (since I wasn't there to witness it) is what both Paul and George talk about on Anthology. They both seemed to recall it, vividly. Pull up some of the outtakes of the song - you can hear John trying to re-create the feedback....I don't know for sure, though.

  • @pianorman And alot of people think he used the rick after the feedback, but he doesnt he uses the Gibson

  • @pianorman I think the Beatles sessions are full of this kind of inventiveness, or serendipity, that Martin accepted and incorporated. Martin was essential, but so were the Beatles.

  • @chest002

pianorman is right, he used an Epiphone electric flattop guitar.

  • @eyeball226 you mean the Epiphone Casino?

  • parese pendejo cantando pero toka perro!!

  • best beatles song, rickenbackers were made for it

  • cretino

  • check out his micro second change from open G chord to bar G chord at one minute 47 seconds!

  • What's the difference between a 325 and a 350?

I feel like I should know for some reason.

  • De que sirve una hermosa rickenbarcker si no sabes usarla?

    D:

  • Good cover man....i love ricks but im getting me a casino :D but a lovely guitar :)

  • rock on, man!

  • too expensive toy for U

  • lol hairy manchild!!!!!

  • Honestly i think it sounds better on a Rickenbacker 350 like yours! technically it was recorded on a Gibson J-160e. and John played it live on his Rickenbacker 325 short scale alot, so your guitar is the perfect middle ground, great job!!

  • lol u got a rickenbacker!?!?!?!??!

  • Younger gen knowing a bit about the Beatles. . Very nice!

  • aw did u see his little face light up when he started singin lol!! xD

  • He's singing in the background. Listen VERY carefully.

  • amo esa guitarra!!!!!!!

  • I'm sorry but on the bridge part at "Shes so glad, shes telling all the world" The first chords are G, Bm, C, then D, and then the second part which is "Shes telling all the world" is G, Bm, Am, and then D. Just thought I'd point that out..

  • It's actually a D7 at the end ;)

  • muy bueno....hermosa guitarra.

  • You play very nice but the music i think must be not so loud we all know how the original sounds. We want to hear you.:)))Good ! :))

  • In 1961, my dad and his younger brother used to go to their favourite club on Friday nights, to hear visiting American jazz musicians. One Friday, instead of jazz music there were a bunch of "greasy, long-haired Britishers with leather jackets" on the stage, making "awful noises" which was much too loud for my dad's tastes. He and his brother left the Star Club and never returned.

I always smile when I hear someone complain about Beatles music being played too loud.

  • @ZWILD1 The Star Club did not open until 1962...

  • Uh gee, who do I believe: 1. My father, who was born and raised in Hamburg; and living there until 1963, and who's version of events is supported by recordings of the Beatles at the Star-Club, dated 1961. Or do I cede my error to an internet troll, looking for an argument and finding it when he locates a Wikipedia entry, which unfortunately is incorrect (like that has happened ten or twenty thousand times before).

And sadly you missed the irony in my first post. Ironic too.

  • @ZWILD1 Im not looking for and argument but you are wrong the star club opened in 1962 and said The Beatles Live at the Star club 1962 or your talking about the top 10 club in hamburg which the beatles played at in 1961.

  • If you're not looking for a fight, why are you so observed by the trivial point you raised (btw, where were you in 1961, can you physically verify the accuracy of your source?)? If you're not looking for a scrap, then why did you miss the intentional irony in my post and the encouragement I gave the poster to do it their way?

You're a troll who always needs the light shining on himself, always needs to be right, always needs to be better than someone else.

    Go away. You lose.

    Again.

  • Despite what you say I know I am right. So you lose .

  • Good playing, very nice guitar !

  • the 350 is a full-scale version of the 325

  • you're good man! nice guitar too.

  • Warms my heart to see such a young lad learning Lennon's rhythm instead of some freakin' metal shredding gibberish...

  • @ROCKSTARCRANE im glad when im learn a new beatles song!! im 18 and I am angry because I fell behind very much a lot from everything . the last 60 years were the most beautiful ones in the music so i feel it. And I missed these years unfortunately.

  • @ROCKSTARCRANE +1000000 if i could

  • @ROCKSTARCRANE

Couldn't agree more, I'm 11 years old, and already working towards a Rickenbacker 350V63 and have 6 full Beatles rhythm parts (plus riffs) in my inventory of playable songs, never touched anything like Gaga, Bieber, or Eminem. Most modern music is nothing more than a load of clots who have run out of musical ideas and swear a lot, and, in lady Gaga's case, make false carey-sharey speeches.

  • In Sweden a Rickenbacker 350v63 costs

    32 000 which is about 4500 $

  • Really nice :)

  • how much did u get it for?

  • how much this guitar ??

  • you´re a good feller, pedrez! can play it on my stratocoaster!

  • cant hear you over the BEATLES !

  • @sonofrock97 thats john lennon's replica 350v63 not a 360 or 325

  • You play great. I too love rickenbackers. You are a fine guitarist who is playing the best band in the world and I like watching you because you look like my son. You play I'm happy just to dance with you very well also. Thanks, Lenny
