  • why did u not die at 1:09

  • Gerudo Valley music <3

  • This is awesome.

  • at 1:37 what is that blue thing?

  • @thelightknight27 its a small (16x16) version of the big bully that pushes Mario back later in the level. The level actually plays like a normal level if you don't let it do its automatic thing, and the bullies in the area combined with the wind are intended to make it moderately challenging.

  • are you heat god mode

  • GERUDO VALLEY!!!!!

  • So, this level can be played automatically, and controlled?

  • They let you win cuz of awesome music! I LOVE THE GERUDO VALLEY MUSIC FROM OOT!!!!!

  • haha awesomsiyo ! LOL

  • fantastic music choice

  • Midi Gerudo theme sounds terrible, ack.

  • ARRRRRG what game is the song at the beginning originaly from? its driving me crazy that i cant remember

i know the second one is super mario land boss stage theme

  • @hiddenbutdeadly It's the song "Gerudo Valley" from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

  • Gerudo Valley <3

  • Well, maybe you can touch the controller if it's not one of the buttons that controls Mario (Luigi).

  • nice but lots of the time mario was left not doing much

  • haha zelda music

  • lol u had SSBB music NESified too! Once u got underground I heard it. And The LoZ:OoT music NESified too! lol awesome job NESifieing it.

  • this isn't the NES you retard.

  • He is saying the Music was made retro style like an NES. Retard.

  • no he's not, retard. He said "NESified". Meaning Nintendo Entertainment System. God fucking damn. Who's the retard here? The guy who can tell the difference between the NES and SNES or you two jokers?

  • lol nice Zelda ftw

  • gerudo dessert FTW.

  • 1:31 didn't you press the down button to let mario slide?

  • It's a custom block - automatic sliding FTW-

  • How did you get it to run so smoothly?

  • Niiiiiiice :)

  • 1:07 fireball?

  • 1:53 ouch...i hope mario didn't get sand in his mouth...

  • nice video and love the gerudo valley music.

  • Let us also not forget that the music from World 1-3 from Super Mario Land is also in this video, zeldafan024.

  • Impressive!

If I had played this through, I never would have guessed that you could get to the secondary exit without doing anything.

And finally a auto-mario that doesn't have slippery ground.

    Well done!

  • using moving platforms and custom blocks that make u move r cheap in auto levels

  • 1:07 Fireball doesnt kill Mario?

  • Wait so, it has to be played as a normal level to get the standard exit?

    Tricky.... ;)

  • quick question. um..... wat do those green blocks with stars on them do? i've hit em but they only give me like a coin

  • Normally a green star block gives 1 coin if you have collected 29 or fewer coins through the level before hitting it, and a 1up if you've collected 30 or more. In this case though I used a copy of the graphics for the star block to make a midpoint, though that doesn't get touched in the automatic portion of the level.

  • thx, been wonderin that for years

  • at 1:28 its the same rythym as the song! xD

  • hahahahahaha

  • I somehow think I've heard this before... can someone please explain?

  • its from legend of zelda gerudo valley theme

  • yeah, i think its from older mario game?

  • Not as cool as the other self-playing Mario level. It has a lot more neat little tricks.

  • LoZ music for the win!!!!!

  • That is how a Gerudo Desert could have sounded if one had been in a LoZ game for SNES

    XD

  • It's awesome. The best non-glitched Super Mario World automated level.

  • how?

  • At about 1:07, wasn't he hit by a flame, from the piranha plant coming from the yellow pipe?

  • by all rights, he should have been. However, the graphics box and the hitbox of the character don't match absolutely perfectly, especially on small Mario. Additionally, the hitbox of those fireballs is exceptionally small, far smaller than the graphics of it. As a result, the graphics of the fireball DO go through his head. This was sort of planned, originally I had several variations seeing how close I could get it, but once I saw one go THROUGH the character I declared that the winner :)

  • Ah, nice job then.

  • I loved that explanation :D

  • on a side note...I LOVE this game! It was my first ever game :D [Second Was Zelda Link to the past]

  • at 2:22..isn't that music also on brawl?just a diferent...eh...tune?and the first song seems very familiar somehow..

  • sorry I forgot to respond to this earlier. Its based off of music from Super Mario Land, which also was remixed and put into brawl.

  • @xXxXAkamaruXxXx It's from Super Mario Land (game boy launch title). It got remixed for Brawl.

  • woops! I meant Gerudo Valley

  • GERUDO DESERT! is that the real track or did you do that?

  • fire went through his head

  • lol i was gunna comment on that too

  • Gerudo Dessert!<3

  • its not automatic because at the start u pressed down

  • Custom Blocks used in this level: movement blocks (air/water currents, tiny bit of land movement) autoslide blocks (mario automatically slides when touching them) quicksand blocks vertical/horizontal boost blocks (arrows) donut lifts arrow lift platforms high gravity blocks (not touched in automatic section) teleport blocks dark blocks (change palette) The level IS automatic.
  • I've been looking for this music... In fact, I tried to do it at smwcentral but I failed to it. I'm lucas92 there, so if you could submit that music at smwcentral, it would be very nice. Although the music needs some work (well the gerudo valley one)...

  • um, all the music I'm using is either directly at SMW central or came with addmusic. As for the gerudo valley, I specifically requested that from someone, and though its not perfect they did a great job on it so I'm not complaining.

  • What really impresses me the most is that it looks, for all the world, like a real stage that just happens to have an easter egg of "don't touch it and the level plays itself."

  • Excellent choice of music! Great job!

  • You know. It would be fun to try this level when actualy doing some thing too! Thats what I think!

You should make a non slippery version for us to play! XD
