guitar's slightly out of tune, moreover you should learn another technique, sweeping is pretty easy and is way overdone in my opinion- here you're just relying on the one technique to impress- not very tuneful

Sweeping on acoustic is simple, especially with the strings tightened by a capo up high. You don't have to worry about muting as much. Try it on an electric.

thank god i found this. i'd noticed that every video of badass sweep pickers on youtube was of some guy on distorted ELECTRIC with tons of gain and usually some sort of modulation. i've been working on sweep picking for the last year or so, mostly on acoustic (i'm not very good yet) so i wondered if i could find someone who was good, clean, and fast on acoustic sweep picking. this is the only one i've found. i'm speaking as far as all out straight up and down shredding sweep picking scales.

thats cool man, but maybe you should look into jazz, cos i love the playing but the whole using dmaj and a7 didn't really work. Try adding major seven chords, diminished chords etc and a predictable sequence, a 2 5 1 or maybe or a 6 5 1, cos that will make your solo licks sound NICER!
