People keep falsely attributing the Time Person of the Year Award with goodness. That has nothing to do with it. The award goes to the most newsworthy or "important" person of the year just like how Hitler, Stalin, and Bush got the award.

I wholly agree with Eric about his predictions but I'm going to go out on a limb and say the USA along with its financial system will collapse. NO EXCEPTION/DOUBT/ALTERNATIVE. Au & Ag will be the only salvation.

One problem with this is we are the worst except for all the others that matter in size and scope and there may be collusion to let each sector of banker crooks have some time in the sun to keep the gig going. Since the anti-dollar trade is crowded manipulation could cause some of the many who would be right long term to get flipped off the boat short term. Much of our debt is financed to fund imports and if they were cut off the lender would suffer greatly too.
