LMFAAOOO at all of you FOB defenders. FOB, as much as I love them, played on both emo & scene to get records sold. They used cheap - ass lyrics that anyone could write. They just got there first. But don't get me wrong, I like them.

Cheap lyrics = 'drop a heart, break a name' ,'calm before the storm', 'I don't blame you for being you', I set my clocks early 'cos I know I'm always late' etc. They 're plays on sayings and things that are already established in languge or society. Though they are stil good lyrics, I just think others could've come up with them just as easy.

Good lyrics= 'I'm casually obssessed' 'I will never end up like him but ...' I like the oxymorons that are used

@ShaneyBlates2 your looking at all their old stuff though. Folie a Deux - by far their best album, couldnt see one flaw in any song. Infinity on High was pretty good too. and i completely agree with you, those lyrics are cleshayed, but so is all their old stuff. personally i dont pay any mind to it.

@Chudsic That, is very true, though I'm sure I could find them. I do ADORE FOB, one of my fave bands - it's just with everyone saying 'omfg theyre lyk the best eva' & the opposite. I don't pay mind to it when I'm listening, it's just that some people do need to realise that they're not all that and that they're not nothing, if you know what I mean?
