it isnt a girls voice, dummy :) she is playing an instrument and not singing - 2 quite different things. she could play the drums and still have a heavenly voice...

that isn't true! that is only a wrong story some aboriginal people (who didn't know the didgeridoo before the europeans came to australia) tell the girls. most of these non-traditional didgeridoo playing aboriginal tribes don't want a woman or girl playing the didgeridoo. but the real traditional players from arnhemland haven't got problems with mostly.

i think it's great when women play didgeridoo ...

Where did u find that out?? Cause my people, Djabugay and Kuku Yalanji peoples of Far North Queensland.. We believe that if a woman plays the didgeridoo they get pregnant.. So i was just wondering where u found out this info.. Peace out look forward to hearin bak..

my opinion is that it isn't a problem if women play didgeridoo. they won't get problems with their periods and they won't become pregnant -.-

the didgeridoo is an instruments with its roots in arnhemland. tribes from southern, eastern or western australia shouldn't invent new rules .. in the yolngu tribe women are allowed to play the didge - apart from ceremonials.

Yeh i was talkin to you... I was just statin what i grew up knowing..I know the didgeridoo has its roots in Arnhemland, maybe my people just "made up their own rules" as it was something that was introduced to them.. Who knows?? But I have heard it in More than one state..QLD and NSW. I guess I'll have to research all about it.. Anyways take care thanks for your info.. Peace out
