At the end: "How is that possible?" Map Generator bug. In a later video he confuses it with something impossible and unrelated, but really it was just the Map Generator generating lava farther than it should have originally, and the game fixing it naturally.

Having a flashlight like that actually implemented in Minecraft might be kind of cool. Maybe you could combine a steel ingot or two and some redstone dust? Or maybe it could just be a bigger torch that you could carry around, with a health bar that degenerates over time as you carry it.

Thats why when he saw the lava for the first time it looked all yellow and radiant if it was in mine craft i think it would have still looked like lava. But im no expert.
