The jack of spades says that the flipped card's a spade. Then using CHaSeD (of the three remaining jacks, they go from Clubs, Hearts then Diamonds being the highest. To encode the difference of 3 between the jack and ace of spades, the order must be MLH, so hearts clubs diamonds.

It takes a little while to get used to.

@BRICKSNMOTION the 2nd card will be the same, either diamond,clover,hearts,spades (since there are 5 cards and 4 different designs, there's always gonna be doubles); then like they said with LMH=1, LHM=2 with that 'code' that you make, you arrange the 3 of the remaining cards in that order to make the number that you would have to add to the 2nd card to get your hidden card (there are 6 combinations of LMH,LHM,MLH,...etc and the cards will always be no more than 6 apart from each other)
