The baby duckling/chicken looked absolutely delicious! Spicy, crispy poultry is *always* a good thing. I could do the eggs, as long as they were the regular kind. I'm generally pretty adventurous, but I just can't work myself up to trying balut, or its deep-fried cousin :-)

I'm Filipino and proud to be one. I can eat anything my fellow countrymen eat, be they rich or poor. I'm just as happy eating any expensive truffle-laced European dish as I am eating any authentic Pinoy food from our glorious 7,100+ islands--lechon, dinuguan, balut, sorbetes, kwek-kwek, isaw, addidas, Bicol Express, sisig, lengua, tinola, and any seafood dish. @agumon51 either 'ukoy' or 'okoy' is acceptable for the spelling. now... whether that fried shrimp patty is one or not, I can't say... most of the ones I've seen locally (and I'm in San Francisco, CA), have substantially more grated/shredded green papaya and bean sprouts than tiny shrimp. The one in this video however seems to be made completely out of shrimp (and the batter mix that binds them together)!

@bryanlew88 If the Mexicans have fried ice cream, if Americans can eat store-bought wrapped ice cream sandwich bars, if English (UK) can eat ice cream and waffers, if the French can eat ice cream and crepes, I'm sure there is room for ice cream and hamburger buns.
On the other hand, I prefer my ice cream with a soft, warm, sweet roll.. like the Filipino "pan de sal"... but if i don't have any on-hand, a golden, evenly toasted hamburger bun (without sesame seeds) does quite nicely.

Usually, when we say "Pulutan" it is bite sizes of food that usually go with beer or liquors. So, when we hear someone asking for pulutan what comes to mind is there is going to be a drinking session. The street foods featured in this video are just some of the samples. ( except for the ice cream on the bun... also called "dirty icecream" or sorbetes ) ... They should have also featured "Balut" or boiled duck eggs. :)
