You have your tines on backwards for tilling. I have a Mantis electric tiller and if you're not careful you'll wind up in China. It really digs in. Turn your tines around and hang on.
Dude, I think you have the teeth the wrong way round - being constructive, not criticising.
You can see it doesn't really cut deep into the soil and just skims on top - this is because the teeth just bounce off the soil, but if you turn the teeth round they will be angled lower into the ground and dig in more when they turn. I've had the teeth on the wrong way a couple times and let me tell you - you WILL notice the difference if you change them! It's quite a stunning piece of kit.
we had a ridiculous amount of cucumbers and red potatoes. Our tomato plants died while we were gone on vacation for a week. We have two tomato plants on the porch that are still good though. We had a couple cabbage plants that are doing real well. Had some cabbage and white bean soup yesterday. yummy. we planted the carrots too close together so they are all stubby but we still use them. The onions are good but needed more. Overall it was a learning experience and it will be better next year : )
awesome....i'm glad you enoy ur garden! planting a garden & seein it grow is a huge eye opener. just think of wut you would pay @ the store all the produce!!! take a new video of it!!!
sry 4 long ? but is there any kickback from tiller ive seen the commercial and how bad is the weeds / grass clogging the shaft ur the first sub to demo it
camel lights....ya but very little kick...depends out hard/ how much clay you have in your soil. i think it works better when pulled backward. grass wont clog it too bad but crab has log tough stems & i had alot of crab..so thats why it clogged..even when cloged tho it does a good job...i bought weed guards for it..on;y another $15
thanks bud! i amaze myself quite a bit. i guess the cardnal rule is...never give up. i told myself after a yr of feelin down on myself...i'm only gonna ask for help if i fail after 3 atempts without improvising or adapting to the current situation. my friends always called me Macgiver..lmao ...cuz i was really resourcfull & always improvised somethin. thanks for the encouragment
