Is that an after market pre-amp you've put in there then? It doesnt actually say what fender stick in there as standard. Does have have a great tone though. Of course, could always be the player!
This bass guitar was made at Ateler Z(Tokyo, Japan), named "M265". It has heavy ash body, maple neck, atelier z pickups and Bartolini XTCT preamp. As you say, the action is so low that I don't need much power...
If you can, try outboard Bartolini preamps! Then you'll feel the change of sounds without any harm to your bass guitar...
Very good playing! And tone certainly has the Marcus sound!

Hi is it possible that you play the song one more time but then in a slow version.
I want to learn the double pluck in some parts of the song.
Thanks,
Branko

How do you tackle the double-thumbing technique? I can't seem to get my head around it...

I transcribed this song and made the backing track on Sonar Home Studio. I used Yellowtools Independence free 2.0 for drum track.

Nice sound!
Do you use the original pre amp of the Marcus Miller Signature bass or did you change it?
zabriskj 1 year ago
@zabriskj
His Fender '77 bass has Bartolini TCT preamp, but this bass(Atelier Z Tokyo) has Bartolini XTCT preamp by nature.

very well, but the issue is more attractive at the speed that interprets Mitsuru Sutoh - Run For Cover (1998)

That was real tight.
Perfect tone & technique too. Really excellent work.
Could be a little quicker though, the tempo seemed to make it feel a bit like it was dragging...
