  • Thing with triggers is, and this video is a very good example,..THE BASS DRUM LOST ITS CARACTER!!!

  • stupid video fx

  • And I thought I hadn't been drinking...

  • Calm down and take those gloves off

  • WTF with the video effect.....

  • This video should be renamed, "Drummer Learns how use effects on Sony Vegas"

  • Personally, i only recomend to use triggers for the bass. It's not worth doing a performance when absolutely everything is artificial. It doesn't sound good live at all.

  • this is....shit, my head get dizzy just watching this video...great man, and now i;m must driving a long way....*sigh*

  • Sounds like a stack of pillows receiving a DBZ style beatdown.

  • great kit the vid does my head in

  • gettin sea sick

  • work on your timing fool

  • fuck you man

  • dont watch the video..just listen..*puke*

  • the way you set up this video is annoying as hell, for that reason alone you are getting more thumbs down lol.

  • good footwork!

  • sick drumming yet annoying video

  • yeah love that triggered kick sound, but man the video effect felt like when i had 8 tequila shots,4 beers and a blunt in one go...and then after this vision i fuckin shat myself...eheh

  • hey whos the bad drummer that wears gloves?!?!?

  • triggers make u sound awsome not faster btw inferno uses them to make that clicking sound

  • why dont you eq your sample so it sounds like a bass drum instead of a pointless clicking noise.

  • take some advise and lose the triggers... they are just a waist of money and time that you can be spending puting the real sound into a kick drum...

  • that's right dude!!!

    you rocks!!!

    the trigger it's wonderfull!!!

stay on youtube with more videos :D! see ya'!!

    cheers

  • what is trigger ?

  • Your toms sound like bass drums why?

  • lol cool video effect! felt like i was watching this on a broken VCR :P

  • this nigga is straight trash

  • they dont make u go fast? it equals out what you play eg. with a bass drum u cn have the beater next to the skin n still get a relativly equal sound 2 a normal hit (thats why people think u cn go fast when its depending on the drummer at the end of the day)

  • sounds awesome

  • The slide show thing is really annoying!

  • what modul do you use?

  • HPD-15

  • the worst video edition on the youtube

  • you sound great, but couldn't you just keep it as a simple video instead of adding that completely unnecessary rolling effect?

  • man....my eyes hurt...

  • cool video but wtf is with the rolling effects?

  • what a stupid roll effect

  • invest in some good instrumental mics for the cymbals

  • Wow, this si amazing.

  • this video made me dizzy...no kudos

  • is it possible to just tap the bass drum and it will give off the same amount of loudness with a drum trigger??? PLZ SOMEONE HELP!

  • yessss u can. but u cant get good speed unless u hit it hard.

  • if you just barly tap it, you cant hear it but if you actually hit it but not very hard it tends to come out the same sound

  • well... it depends if the triggers are on the pedal or drums and yes if you have the volume cranked up all the way and set the volume at one level easy

  • what triggers do you use?? i need to buy some =]

  • its like watching a TV with the Vertical sync out...good drummer,, but there should have been a different effect or no effect at all, now Im friggin dizzy..

  • trigger makes your drums sounds fake...:|

  • It's about your own feeling... if you like natural drum sound it's ok.. if you like electric drum sound it's oks also.. just about your own feeling.

  • It depends what you trigger though doesnt it? If your triggering real drum sounds in brilliant studios alla superior 2.0 and Avatar studios, its not gonna sound shit is it? Poor samples turn many people off triggers.

  • not if u use good pre sets u can make it sound like any thing u want, eaven like a plucked note on a guitar or a persons voice. so if u get a good drum sound it will sound real.

  • jason bitter

  • this is a nice beat yo fuck everyone else haha yu iight though for real

  • sweet setup. u piss me off as a drummer

  • this video effect is really starting to piss me off.

  • its kinda like the hipnotizing thing lol

  • i was thinking the same thing

  • I need to get me some triggers!!

  • what are triggers and what do they do?

  • they attach to drums, and they pick up the vibration when you strike the head. its sent to a MIDI to produce a sound. some people claim theyre cheating, but they just help you cut through the loud music as in heavier music like death metal, power metal, black metal, etc...

hope i helped, im not good with words haha

  • ur gay as shit and this is shit. just like your wife beater

  • Seriously! Why does everybody say gay to everythin? Like if somethin is wierd you say gay! Gay = boys like boys! Not wierd or stupid! Stop abusing the word

  • calm down there fagget lover

  • death metal my ass

    u fuck

  • that is NOT death metal. Nile, is death metal.

  • I was wondering about this recently. I heard the drummer of Oceano say something about his drums on the album being triggered or something and I thought I had been cheated but I watched him play drums and I was way wrong. Thanks for clearing this up man and kick ass drumming here.

  • good drumming ..

  • triggers just change the sound of your drums from BOOM to pop. fast bass with no triggers sounds alot less clean and harder to hear.

  • Triggers only make your drums sound cleaner, like an eq for your kick. Only reason i would say that peole think they make you faster is because when you can hear your bass drum cut through your feet tend to clean up thier act as well, if you were sloppy or slow in the 1st place. Im proof of this because ive used em and they didnt make me faster, they just sounded fuckin badass. Ive seen douche bags try em and they didnt pull off anything but a loud shitty bass drum.

  • Its nothing like EQ for your kick. Its replacing the drum sound completely so basically you could attach one to a bit of plastic and it would still work. Think electric drum kit and your on the right lines.

  • TRIGGERS DO NOT MAKE YOU GO FASTER! BUT they can be used to cheat but there is more to it..I just got back into triggering my kick and snare.. soo dont worry about these newbs who dont know how to do shit..they just find shit to bitch about because they cant play fast shit on tha kicks..on another note...what module and triggers you using bro

  • triggers don't make you go faster so read in to it and you might learn something

  • triggers are so pussy man up and learn how to play fast on your feet

  • Dude triggers dont have anything to do with speed, they pretty much just make the bass drum sound more distinct. Nothing to do with speed, really good drummers use em like the dude from Nile and Decapitated, and I think Vinnie from Pantera might have..

  • actually they do have you heard beneath the massacre or as blood runs black? triggers and no vinny paul doesnt use triggers its 2 hits in 1 my friend has em on his set

  • Well maybe your thinking of some other sort of trigger, but the triggers that those bands pretty much just amplify it to make it sound better. And Im not sure that Beneath the Massacre would use those kind of cheating ones, maybe Blood Runs Black...but thats cuz they suck (in my opinion)

  • so your saying the drummer for beneath the massacre can play over 300 bpm? fact is that the only drummers who dont use triggers now are mainly death metal drummers like deicide, cannibal corpse, lamb of god, and devildriver

  • Cannibal Corpse and Lamb of God aren't death metal.

  • ok then what is death metal sport

  • death metal is bands like death and morbid angel, where cannibal corpse is brutal death metal, similier to hate eternal, (big difference between the two genres, death metal is good and brutal death metal isnt), and lamb of god isnt death metal or brutal death metal, its closer to a very heavy version of thrash metal with distorted vocals

  • CC is pure death metal lol oO

  • @NeilPeartisGod14 hahahahahaha

  • just because it has the setting doesnt mean the bands use them.

  • Actually comment when you know what your talking about. Beneath the massacre are not fake. As blood runs black are not fake. Leche is a fucking amazing drummer. The fastest leche plays is 260 bpm. So im guessing george kollias must be fake because he can do 320 bpm? Fuck off. Your just jealous of their talent.

  • hahaha did you really just say that wow you obviously havent seen any of them in concert and they alreadyhave admitted to triggers in modern drummer you dumb faggot wow you have to be my favorite retard

  • beneath the massacre is amazing

  • no idea how tight, he has pillows in the bass drums, and i dunno what head, theyre pearl bass drums but i dunno exactly what type.

  • nice drumming

  • k im not a drummer so dont call me stupid. im a guitarist, and i can never hear my drummers bass drums. we dont have PA so is it possible to hook triggers up to an amp?

  • Vertical hold is messed up. I didnt know TVs still had that.

  • thats fucking hilarious cuz i thought the same thing. at first i was thinking it was just gonna be the first frame....i was sadly mistaken.

  • Lol. me too

  • LOL reminded me of the same thing!

  • dude what triggers are those called? how much were they?

  • weird setup man.. lefty? righty.. cool

  • dude good shit this is solid. nice setup too. sounds really nice man.

  • i'm dizzy.

  • a good trick to getting a click sound if you can't afford triggers is, use a plastic head beater on your pedals, most pedals have two heads and can we switched 180 degree's. what you do is gaffer tape a small rectangular section where the beaters hit, then attatch a coin(s) exactly where the beaters hits and then cover again with gaffer tape. the hard plastic hitting metal will create the clicky sound while still having the punch of the natural drum sound. it's cheap and protects ur bass skin 2

  • Isn't the coin trick how Pantera got the famous click sound on Vulgar?

  • yeh i think it is =P

  • Yeah. You can also buy a click pad. It's like 2 metal coins inside a rubber pad. I have a gibralter click pad on my bass head and I use the plastic side of the pearl quad-beater. It gives it a great clicking sound.

  • Sounds great. What is the trigger module that u are using?

  • thats amazing man

  • triggera on bass and drums beside snare?

  • just the 1 bass drum and snare

  • sounds great
