Ok...this is coming from a Brandy STAN! I have to say that this IS lipped because whenever she sings live, her voice is alot more thick and has much more body than this. OBVIOUSLY, BRAN CAN SANG! But she does lip many of her performances. But who cares, cuz her music is redic and so is her voice. And when she does sing live (e.g. At Last), it's better than any pre-recording
Theres just a certain something amazing about this song. I actually believe it came out prematurely. If it came out now in 2010 it would fit perfectly in the current dark zone of music...plus this video is awesome...I wish it wouldve waited. Both her and Aaliyah were the first female rnb'ers to do the edgy thing
funny you say this, cause Rodney Jerkins produced this and most of the songs on MJ's album Invincible that came out around the same time...so MJs & Brandy's sound was very similar at this time...cool huh?

I dont think nowadays lip synching is a big deal, so long as its not 100 percent of the concert. To sing 10-20 songs in a night and have it go perfectly is near impossible. Beyonce lips part of her shows...Brandy already proved she can sing, so theyres no trouble lipsynching or not.

Her excuse is being a perfectionist and that she'll give you a good performance during the Fast- Paced tracks, so when its time for the slower ballads she won't be Hoarse and out of Breath.
