  • Is the car still for sale?

  • @tootlems

    Yes it is!!

  • gta

  • i understand that chevy motors are good and that car is beautiful but can we please keep ford motors in fords and chevy motors in chevys, i understand its more expensive to build but that should be something to face when buying a ford

  • the only thing here with ford and chevy is the cost a ford engine is much stronger then a chevy many parts dont have to be changed to get a strong engine but the down fall is the cost of hop up parts for fords thay cost three times as much as chevy parts and much harder to find but ford will have that little bit extra power and rpm the hot roder will want, enough said im a ford gear head ok i said it, PS ford from the factory has steelolite parts where there high ware cam crank valve dont burn

  • i love that car

  • John Milner better watch out for this one. LOL

  • ya horny, HOW MUCH IS IT ??? auto ???? do ya ever build one with a 4 speed ? why always auto ??? parades ? later gar

  • ok stupid question....why build a ford with a chevy engine?...you wouldnt build a chevy with a 460...just saying

  • continued continued. When you're getting into the 150k invested range if you can save several thousand dollars by using chevy stuff, blowers...etc most people are going to go that route. It very often comes down to cost but not always. I'm a mopar guy and hate that I'm going to say this, You can get a lot more "fast" for your money from chevy than ford or mopar. I've got 10k into my mopar engine, I coulda build a chev for 8 and gone just as fast if not even faster. god I hate to say that.

  • continued, they buy a chevy, vintage big block or really modern as in corvette engines. It's just the way it's done. If you were to have one built and wanted to keep it ford they'd probably laugh at you and then squeeze the hell out of you because they can. Love to see an old ford flat head in it. Or, if you're wanting to go fast a modern bit block ford. Lots of aftermarket shiney stuff is available for ford. Not so much for mopar. anyway, beautiful car, very common, 150k intoitbutcant get65k

  • It's very common to see Chev power plants in these cars. I'm a mopar guy and am in no way shape or form pushing the idea of using chevy for mills in these cars BUT, you see it all the time, mostly because they're cheap, also, they've got a shitload of aftermarket stuff available to them. you can build a bbc with blower way way cheaper than ford or mopar. So much more stuff available there's shinny stuff for it that ain't available for ferd and mopar. He did it because that's what they do,buy a

  • I love how guys are whining because you put a Chevy engine it. They are too ignorant to realize that if you replace the factory motor with ANYTHING it will reduce the value of the car compared to original. BUT this is a total hot rod. These have been built with Chevy engines for DECADES. Why? Because the big block Chevy is one of the best ever built. Go back to your Hondas with the big muffler you brats.

  • you can pass everything but a gas station in that thing!!! =D

    nice ride man

  • beautiful rod but really ...a chevy motor?? still beautiful though thanx for sharing

  • what a shame! such a nice car the chevy transplant cheapens vehicle and i dont want to hear its cheaper or less to maintain years of racing and hotrodding has made any manufacturer's engine capable of any horsepower range and dependability. if it was a money issue you could have saved your money longer. i like all makes and models it's not about the brand but about if you built it or did you write a check for it. and as far as chevy engines being low quality it's true. any engine builder knows

  • @sunbeambob That's bugatti based there engine off a modified 350 chevy? Mmmhm Ok.

  • if i had money id take it off ya hands. no doubt. im only 16 though

  • HOW MUCH IS THE CAR?

  • @chuckdiesel201

Trying to get 65K, over 100K invested.

    Thanks

  • When's the last time u saw a 32' with a ford engine in it ???? Bad ass car !!

  • DO NOT HAVE THE BALLS DO YOU TO OPEN IT UP niether do I but you is a chiken or bought it WUSS the spade has spoken !

  • WTF its an amazing car untill I noticed the distributer wasnt in the front...WTF

  • @junkydeal

I just turned 67 and I figured I would sell it before I lost my wits!! : )

  • @gofast40972 wots the cost of insurance on it for a 19 year old??

  • where located?

  • @510skatefreak

Good old city of Portland, Oregon

  • Nice drive!

  • Thanks!!

  • great car but the old man in the red mercedes(:s) dont like it :p

  • Sweet car.

    I love it.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • awsome ride man,, now, the side inlet air filters are different for sure,, but very cool, just curious, did you choose them cause of the look, or do you sometimes cover up the engine??? either way man,, that thing is awsome,,, and i can only imagine what its like running low 10s in a car like that

  • Pretty much for the look ( that is what the customer wanted at the time) and they were just laying around collecting dust.

  • Classic!!!!

  • If I wanted to go to an art show then i would go. If i want to race i get out the bimmer and crank it up.

  • ALL MY Fords are BUILT TOUGH, with 454 CHEVY STUFF!!

  • SSSWWWWEEEEEEETTTTTTT!!!!!!!

  • @illmakeupmyownname gay everyone knows that chevy engines make the pice go down dont deny

  • @DoctorNambu HUH? id like for you to give me some examples of this i really would but you wont because your probably a mustang tool fanboy.

  • @DoctorNambu Chevys are cheap thats it you know it look anywhere you cant deny CHEVY SHIT IS CHEAP ITS JUST A HEAP....of shit

  • 10.0? I doubt it!!!! Yea the car looks good but those air filters GOT TO GO!

  • wish it was Ford powered

  • all that work intoa a beautiful car...AND YOU PUT UGLY AIR CLEANERS ON IT???? WTHELL???

  • Lol, Idk what u guys are talking about but who has the money to cart around a gas guzzler with a big engine. if i were to have this car it would have factory rim with nice street tires and a non blown mid cam 351 cleveland and some magnaflow 44s. Just my opinion but half wont listen to the young one in the crowd.

  • fantastic

  • I don't understand why people do all that work on these old Fords (restoring...they call it) and put Chevy under the hood. Seems like you'd want to put a Ford engine in a Ford car?? Aren't there plenty of 289's, 302's, 351's, etc around for stuff like that?

  • @drumrkane I would have put a BBF, like a 428CJ or something like that. With the blower still of course. ;)

  • @drumrkane i feel the same way ...but when you see a chevy motor in a ford it is done by 2 kinds of ppl...1..chevy ppl seem to love our old ford cars and trucks and they do this to them ..or 2..a guy who is just a [general ] car guy and fallows the crowd and isnt really brand loyal and just does it cuzz,,well ..everyone does it..me on the other hand ,,it wood be 100% ford running gear ..i would like to do a y block in these cars cuzz you dont see that and most ppl wood thing its a sbc

  • I dont imagine its ever beaten a BMW in a fair race. But then its all show and no goy

  • Cornering would be a little bit difficult. It has been down the 1/4 mile with a 10.04 time with street tires though.

  • @fattony252 don't you hate those cars with no goy

  • @fattony252 wtf did you say BMW????? are you serious some people never leave there house go ahead and post a video of the BMW thats going to beat that

  • @fattony252 : There's not a bmw in the world that looks this good!

  • @fattony252 can u fukin stop brggin about ur shitty bmw ricer?! ive seen u everywhere!

  • that sounds amazing

  • Like how the exhaust is collected after the headers. Nice job.

  • Man I have dreamed about a car like this and then I find a video on the perfect invisionment of it. Something about the roar of it gets to you! Somehow how one day I'm going to get a hot rod like this consider it my life goal.

  • how much is it ???????????

  • Awesome Ride!!!!

  • if i woudl hav the money id buy it with cash

  • That is a true HOT ROD

  • Nice wheels !

  • she's a stunner! i have a '32 model b incorporated into my oldschool halfsleeve :) my tattooist says u dont see many on girls..im quite famous in his shop as "oh you're the one with the hotrod!"

  • Other than the pretty colours, is the rest original or just for hot rod things?

  • he is kinky and looking for someone to whip with that towel ;)

  • if u want a fast car get a chevy

  • Isn't it not kosher putting a chevy block in a ford vehicle?

  • Fantastic looking ride !

  • What might you have???

  • lol, I've got a 1993 Cadillac i'll trade ya for it! j/k, even if you wanted to, i couldn't get rid of that cadi, it's got too much sentimental value.

  • how much is it?

  • Thanks for looking!! We have over $180,000 invested and are asking around $119,000 for the coupe. Thanks again!!

  • is it a 8-71 or 6-71? what percentage underdriven are you spinning it? what boost and horsepower?

  • Thanks for looking. The supercharger is a 6-71 and we run this one at 10% underdriven.....a little more pump gas friendly. This engine makes about 10-12 lbs. of boost and probably 600-650 horsepower. Thanks again for looking.

  • I have some questions to you, what is the main advantage with rectangular port heads instead of using round port heads?

Does it flow much better and/or is there something else?

What is the size of the 454 Ls6's rectangular port heads? ( in standard-condition)

    Great great HotRod man

  • Thanks for looking!! Rectangular heads pull more at higher rpm,s than oval port. Oval port heads actually provide more performance at low to mid range. We used these simply because of the intake we had for the blower, it was rectangular port. The standard flow of the big port heads is around 325cc's on the intake. The factory big port heads use 2.19 intakes and 1.88 exhaust. Oval port heads use 2.06 intake and 1.77 exhaust. Thanks again for looking.
