Your hair is too cute girl! I started my locks w/ two strand twist too and I ended up with about 480. I've been interlocking w/ the nappylocs tool for like 4 months now, I can't wait to gain a bit more length so I can try those loops, I tried perm rod curls and they came out great. I love love love your 2 tone color ^.^ two questions though:
did you dye your hair before you or after you twisted?
@MissMiaAfroGoddess i think im gone try perm rods next to see if i get a different curl.. In this video, i think i dyed it after i interlocked, but i've done it both ways.. and i was told to use lemon juice because it would make my hair "hard" which would speed up the meshing/locking process.. and I think it worked lol
Your locs are simply gorgeous. You are giving me so much motivation. Today will be my 4th and last time restarting my journey. Hence had issues with size and parting. This time my two strands are your size. For a minute I was scared because I heard having twists smaller than a pencil are no good. When you started when did you begin your first wash? Did you interloc or palm roll your starters and what month did you start? You have no idea how excited I was to see your fotki- because of google
@crit1227 I was alittle apprehensive too about the size of the two strans twist!! but i dont regret it at all now... i did combine about 20 of them tho! im still experimenting with the really really tiny ones now, jus to see if they will break! so far soo good!! When i first started them, i didnt wash my hair for 3 WEEKS and I was spraying lemon juice in my hair everyday to help them mesh... i interlocked at teh 3 week mark!! and i've been doin it ever since!!!! UR GONA LOVE THEM!!!!!!
