The most remote place in the planet, inhabited by only one youkai and her fairies. The time seems slow, the movement impaired, the things are not where they should be. Something's wrong here. Far in the distance, you can see a giant wall of earth rise like the ones protecting castles and cities, only a hundred times bigger. The Last Remote, better known as The Farlands.

The glitch appeared quite like how you described your far lands, i.e. sky-high walls of dirt and stone suddenly rising out of the landscape.

Yes,as far as I know, the extra stage takes place in the Moriya Shrine. Not sure exactly where in Gensokyo it is besides that it's located near the top of the Youkai Mountain.

Total opposite of my problems. I can get the games to work on my PC, but the PC-98 emulaters I tried were a pain in the ass for some reason. I just gave up.

Depending on how you got your games, a program on your computer might be interfering with it. When I torrent download, mostly with royalty free music, it's a no go for me. On the other hand, importing the games have made alot of complicated problems a hell of alot easier. I wonder if the discs have something that helps.

Also, I actually prefer just importing the games. If everyone downloaded instead, ZUN would be in the poor house. And ZUN without a home means no more Touhou. Though, that didn't stop my previous attempts with PC98 titles, since the only way for Westerners to play those games is through emulator. Still, I'm completely comfortable without PC98 games. Besides, I haven't fully gave up. I plan on bugging certain import and localization houses. Though, there all busy atm.

This song is an amazing extra stage theme but...

Maybe too amazing. It just seems so out of place for such a calm environment of Subterranean Animism's Extra. I mean, save for a really irritable Sanae, everyone is pretty much calm... the fairies just are really good at Danmaku for fairies and theres a lot of them.

It doesn't fit the mood of that particular EX-Stage to me.

Still, one of the most epic songs in the series though, next to Primal Scene of Japan the Girl Watched.
