i really dont know how im gonna get used to the extra tracks on the extended version.this album is amazing.ive played this and mediterannia non stop.astronaut was good but i think they got the track listing wrong.all the slow ones at the end.finest hour should be towards the end as its an epic the same as this.

Fits perfectly into Durans back catalogue of atmospheric epic ballads that depend on Rhodes/Le Bon vocals synths for their power such as other classics like The Chauffeur, Winter Marches on and Lady Ice, all from the 1982- 86 period. Sounds like a real grower and one of the best track so far on the new album. Prefer Simons vocals on such tracks.

@trevorfuture Agreed. This is a fantastic Duran Duran song with all the classis elements of an 80's Duran song. You can discern 'The Chauffeur,' sound within this track. This marks the return of the Duran Duran to their grass roots. Superb!

Well you say the album is too retro, and a Rio-2...but you like this one which seems the new "Chauffeur"??

@steylor Hey Steylor. You make a good point there. This song is "Lady Ice" or any of the other Nick Rhodes atmospheric songs. However the melody is a classic. However as I said Rio is not my favourite Duran album. I prefer Seven and the Ragged tiger, Notorious or " Big thing" or even "Madazzaland" Maybe there are other good songs on the new album but please name them. However I think you must agree that this song is the best song on the album. However its good to hear others opinions.

Yes its a pity that the rest of the album is not as good as this. This is the "My Antartica" or "Midnght Sun" of the new album. I strongly suspect that this is a Nick Rhodes song but thats just a hunch. I could be wrong about that. I have to say that Simons voice is great on this song. He really is singing like a tortured soul on this one. Excellent vocal. Its a great song. Its just a pity that the rest of the album isnt a patch on this song. This is the epic of this album.
