I saw this film today for the first time. I have been studying history for years and while my knowledge is far from perfect I was absolutely shocked to learn what this film portrayed about the Soviet system. I knew of the mass famines and murders, of Katyn, of Stalin's megalomania. I knew of the existance of the Gulag BUT I never knew until now how close the Soviets were to the Nazi's and how much worse they really were. I am appalled and disgusted - again.

On of the most evident examples is about quotation from Marx. Simple check shows, that Marx never said that, especially in the paper mentioned in the movie. And so on and so forth.

No context, background or reasons are given, only conspiratorial speculations on the suspicious similarities between Nazi and Soviet propaganda POSTERS, not to mention it’s unbelievably HYPOCRITICAL.

Of course anyone who doesn’t know the first thing about history will find the SS to be an “insightful documentary”.
