Actually no, if you saw the first part of this pitch you'd realise he does need the money as he's made a loss on his own 400k investment. So he really does need the cash injection from the dragons. Theo merely established that Martin was offering 10% equity for a 150k investment when he stated he could get hold of the money himself.
But I do have to admit, it is a bloody awesome invention.

what did theo mean at the end ,"perhaps too clever" sounds like they didnt trust him cause some of the others the agreed with theo .may be it was because he believed in his product and had all the answers they just didnt see his vision. i thought it was a graet idea you get heat all round the room not just at radiators. my question would of been how does heating cost compare to rads and under floor heating in terms of bills but nobody asked that im surprised.
@steviesuperstar i completey agree. When people are cold they tend to sit next to the radiator but what if the radiator is placed in a bad position? For example what if the Radiator was at an awkward angle from the TV? With the Skirting boards you can sit where you like and you will be warm. Great idea.
