Great video... does this camcorder come with a mic-in function?

If it does, I haven't found a connection for it. The internal mic has been good enough for me so far but I could see the need for an external mic at some point.

I want to have a camcorder with mic-in but I would sacrifice that for a good quality camcorder. I am thinking this one or JVC GZ-MG645

I think that was power director 7. I have since got power director 8, which works brilliantly with windows 7

Man your video and presentation is so slow. You are slower than a replay. And why not devote some more time to the actual camera and how it works rather than the box and bubbly wrap?
