wow! this is such a relief!! Powerful rendition of young people singing a highly acclaimed praise song! Kudos to the producers of American Idol or whoever were the brains of this production number for giving Christianity a chance. Well, I hope and pray America goes back to her roots when she was first founded as a nation!

@martina0845 agreed. this was the best group performance on american idol EVER! and not just because they sang this amazing song, but because they sang it soooo good. they blended so well together. carly and david cook were just fantastic!!! the group numbers are usually terrible. season 7 was the best

This was strange, if they didn't want to sing, "Jesus," on TV the first time, why didn't they just sing a different song? Why edit a well known song, didn't they understand that this would make people mad? Inly on AI could you just sing it again the next day with the right words and that makes it ok.
