One comment about your flowers in the background: they look at little disorderly. I'd cut them much shorter, so that the buds are one inch above the vase at most, especially if you put more flowers in it, that way the whole composition will look right in place. Also try to use yellow and/or red flowers to offset the blue color of the vase :)
I agree this is pretty pointless-but they forgot to mention that once the original seal is broken, it's best for dry items and things you'll use up fairly fast-unless you're going to re-seal them. I bought a large plastic jug of honey that was on sale-but since I don't like storing in plastic, I have it in a large peanut butter glass jar. Also good for those small, floppy bags of beans & barley, etc. Goo-Gone is great for getting off the labels.
My family and I have done this sort of thing for many years now. Jelly jars tend to work really well for spices and pickles, after appropriately cleaning and drying them.
little bit of eucalyptus oil on a cotton ball will get rid of any bits of leftover glue on the glass. I think there are products you can buy for this, but I use eucalyptus oil as I always have a bottle of it in the house
@mapleloaf67 i'm in the US, and i would call it a jar. bottles by the US definition have slender 'necks' (hence the expression bottleneck for a traffic jam in a small space), while jars have wide 'mouths' (such as wide-mouth canning jar). ;-)
i'm interested to know - where are you from? i had no idea there were regional differences for these terms! it's kind of neat.

You know I luv you guys . . . but this tip is a waste of bandwidth.
Forget the damn bottles . . . share some of that wonderful knowledge you were given when growing up . . and remember that I will always be a fan :-)

bottle = jars for people in the UK. lol... had to say that cus it sounded so strange you keep calling it a bottle. hehe.
I Re-use mine for spices, as does everyone else in my family.
