well, I made diver 2 after this vid was made, and making games is just something I get to do in my spare time so it takes a while. Not to mention other platforms come out (Windows Phone 7) that cause me to re-think things.

This is only a tech preview. The end product may or may not be as good as Ski Stunt. I'm making it because I liked Ski Stunt and wanted more.

Yes, it uses the same control scheme, and the game play will be similar (not identical), but is that a bad thing?

Ski Stunt is a great game but it's been abandoned by the developer. I think if any game deserves a clone, Ski Stunt does.

I plan to take what was good about Ski Stunt and continue it.

:-) sorry, no demo yet. I'm working on the editor for the game which is probably the most difficult part of the whole game. Getting closer everyday, but still a ways to go.

Looks very compelling. Smooth, stable physics. Even the score is nice! A few more bump and features along the landscape and you're there. Good luck!

Brilliant, cant wait to play it ^^ Ski Stunt was a good concept. But looks like you've adopted the style :P make more and more, your very talented. Any way of doing a MX styled one? a bike instead of a board? just an idea ;) keep it up, might go play Diver till this is released :P

What it really comes down to is I like to build games that I want to play and I really liked playing Ski Stunt. It just had an addictive feel to it.

I think the Ski Stunt game mechanic has a lot more potential than what the original offered and I want to explore that a bit and see if I can come up with a compelling game of my own based on it.

Hey Grant, see above for my response. Even if all I built was a Ski Stunt clone, I'd be very content. Ski Stunt, in my opinion, needs some clones. It's very good game and the original developer obviously isn't planning to make a sequel.

Yes, inspired. The game so far is pre-alpha. The game player control IS a clone of Ski-Stunt. There have been no other games like Ski Stunt since Ski Stunt itself. I feel the game-play mechanic is worth duplicating. As for the game itself it's still in development.
