Can you link me to schematics or basic overview pictures of its wonderful innards? Pretty please? I have build TC's myself but this design really intrigues me
@TechnoW1zard As it happens, in a week or so I'll be putting up a website with some construction photos and details on this project. I'll put a link in the description. It's nothing too original electronically, though! It would take a cleverer soul than me to improve much on Steve Ward's DRSSTC drive circuitry.
At first I thought it looked like a bad idea, in that it looked extremely dangerous. While that opinion didn't change at all, it's still fucking badass.
The primary is inside the secondary, in the longer of the two pipes. It's 7 or 8 turns of 10 AWG wire.
It definitely helps to have all the right parts. I grabbed DRSSTC parts whenever I could for 7 years before I had everything needed to build one properly.
I'll definitely bring this thing out on halloween.
I want one but I can't even get my SGTC to work proplerly XD its mainly because of money issues. you can't get much when you are 14 years old and not even allowed a facebook.... XD omg lol then is that your hallowee costume?
