One of my favorite songs on the album. This isn't the direction I would have taken this video. The colors are all wrong to me, they're too warm. I would love to direct, or at least assist in the art of a video for "Ropes." I have synesthesia, and it has given me an incredible idea for that song.

I noticed the eagle that was there at the beginning and the end. That eagle was in the quiet place video. I think the meaning of the video is that an era has ended now that Jesper is gone. In Flames is one man down and well I think they're paying homage to Jesper.
