The importance of tuning a guitar cannot be more obvious. I love this song but the guitar is slightly out of tune. I'd LOVE to hear this with a tuned guitar. The lyrics are moving. Your voice is working with the song to. Have you thought about using eighth notes for the arpeggios instead of 16th notes? I think it might give the song more drive if the rhythm pattern was differed. I hope you make it big with this song. Hooah.
@nofxmike06 The guitar was one that was up on stage, and all the contestants were using it, I was the last one to go, and I was so nervous I didnt even bother checking to see if it was in tune. I know as well as you do it was a little off, lol. Oh well. I got a good version, with some more instruments, being mixed and mastered at a studio in Orlando. It will be on iTunes too, and 50% of the profit is going to the Wounded Warrior Project. I think you'll approve of that one better, once its up!

And there really aren't words...seeing his coffin come off the plane, seeing the other guys for the first time after they came home...words don't describe the feelings that come along with those things. Very amazing song. I really enjoyed it. I've served proudly in Iraq twice and know 3 soldiers that have given their life over there due to deep buried IED's. This is a great reminder of those who have gave all for their country.

Not only does he have such great talent, bt he is an awesome individual! He is the type of man that ANY father would want for his daughter to marry! I couldn't hold back the tears...so moving. I lost the love of my life this past deployment in Afghanistan. And there really aren't words...seeing his coffin come off the plane, seeing the other guys for the first time after they came home...words don't describe the feelings that come along with those things. He's forever my hero, as are you. Thank you for sharing this...I can't imagine that it was easy to write, but thank you. People need to hear this song. It's amazing.

As I watched you sing this song I started crying. Crying because of all the men and women that didn't come home to their families. Crying for what you and all of those fighting to protect me and this country have been through. Crying because I know that you all are not thanked enough or always treated as the heroes that you are. I have shared this song in every way I can and I hope it reminds others as it did me of all that you sacrifice to protect us. Thank you.

Its good to know that even though we have lost many brothers and sisters and combat that we can never for get them. we lost on in our deployment to iraq and now we are fixing to fly over the waters again only to new territory, Afghanistan, this song just really hits home!!

I lost a good friend of mine to sniper fire in Iraq and every morning, noon and night I play this song. I love it. But now you need to have it recorded so your fans can buy it. In about a year I will be heading my way that way, or where every my country needs me, and this song will be coming with me, you have a real hit here, and I know im not the only one that sings along to it. Very amazing song. I really enjoyed it. I've served proudly in Iraq twice and know 3 soldiers that have given their life over there due to deep buried IED's. This is a great reminder of those who have gave all for their country.

This is my little brother, and first of all, I just want to say how proud I am of him. Secondly, I was proud WAY before we knew he had such great talent! Not only does he have such great talent, bt he is an awesome individual! He is the type of man that ANY father would want for his daughter to marry! He is the definition of loyal, trustworthy, honorable, and everything good that you can think of. He has a heart of gold and really LOVES this country and his fellow military personel & civilians!

Great song. I've been serving for 22 years now, this is my life. Even when I retire I'll always be a Soldier. 2 dislikes, ok I'll guess they never served or don't give a damn. Those of us who have, understand. Those of you that haven't and respect us thank you. I want to hear more it's a great tribute to all of us that won't come home.
