but let me direct you to my channel. you like floyd? youll like us. love hendrix? youll love us. Give my channel a chance. trust me youve got nothing to loose and a new great psychedelic band to gain. Promise.

  • why do you think a band lik the black keys could never be as good as led zeppelin or for that matter any 70's blues rock?

  • this will never get old never.

  • pray they dont take it off =(

  • Amazing!!Jimmy Page is incredible at guitar!!Thank you to Jimmy there wouldn't be a band with such an amazingly talented guitarist AND Robert Plant with his voice!!

  • Just isnt any good, hard, classic bands like Led Zeppelin anymore! :( Listen to the bass how well it flows with everything else and how unique and GREAT Roberts voice is and the amazing multy-task beat-keepin Bonham is! And Jimmy's guitar skill are flawless! BRAVO! \mmmmmm/

  • Chunk, You saw and did everything that my friends and I only dreamed of! We did see The Song at the midnight movies 100+ Times in the early 80's. In HS when my peers were listening to Flock of Seguls, I had Zep3 going on my turntable. Decline of Western didnt hold at the mid mov very long and we missed it. Did you go to Mont Pop, Altamount, Woodstock, Cal Jam 1, or 2 ?? Did you ever hang out in Laurel Cyn in the late 60's/early 70's? Did you take Peote in the desert with Jim Morrison? (Just kid)

  • cool my b-day is the 5th

    Jimmy rules!!! \m/

  • Thats a great guitar solo

  • Treasure this coz there will never ever be another bunch of young guys who can rock with such mastery of their instruments

  • accept when i start my band lol

  • i am gonna start my band in another 8-9 years

  • Drums the fuck out of shit!

  • Amazing! Three musicians and a singer sound like they are at least ten people. So tight, so full of joy, so skilfull. Where they ever better?

  • just don't make bands like this anymore.

  • Bonham drums the fuck out of this song.

  • no shit, bonham drums the fuck out of every song

  • che pezzo!

    incredibili

    i migliori....clamorosi...

  • anyone know if u can purchase or find this entire show somewhere?

  • ya it's called How the West Was Won DVD. This song is part of the their performance at the Royal Albert Hall

  • Yes you can, by buying the CDs of the Mothership

  • Like how at about 2:35 the boys huddle at the kit for bonzo to bring em back in!! awesome.

  • Rip it. Love the sweater vest on Page.

  • fuckin shit man.. i was i was old enough to grow up in the 70's.. better than this shit, all this economic crap..... =[[[[

i would've gone to every rock concert,,, like EVER haha. and then tell my grandkids one day in like.... 2050 or something...

  • Best band ever

  • man i tell ya i never heard a band with 4 most talented guys in all my days. this is what rock is all about.

  • Your right I misread that, it was late at night and I was watching t.v. But the point remains Anything Led Zeppelin is not underrated.

  • A million times better then the version on Coda!

  • its the same as the version on Coda, just remixed

  • I just realized after I posted that comment that it IS the same version on Coda! I felt so frickin' stupid! :p

Oh, well, everybody makes mistakes, right?

  • JOHN PAUL JONES ROCKS MY WORLD!!!!!!! Soooooo underrated!!! He is the god damn backbone of their whole fuckin operation!!!!!!

  • There is no way you can call him that. This is one of MAYBE a handful of bands in existence that every member is ESSENTIAL to their sound, if one of them weren't in it, it wouldn't sound anything like it does.

  • your right dude! I know it! I just wanted to big him up a bit cause he rarely gets the respect he deserves. They are all equally kickass!

  • That's true, I guess in the context of the band, he gets the least recognition, but as far as bass players go, him and Entwistle are easily regarded as two of the best ever

  • hes not underrated, hes probably actually rated just right. I don't know anyone who doesn't agree hes one of the most amazing drummers in the world, except tasteless people who don't know who led zeppelin is. But jeez anything led zeppelin and underrated should not go together in a sentence, theyre a great band, theyre alot of things but underrated is not one of them.

  • John paul jones plays bass not drums!

  • „¸¨°º¤ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨

¨°º¤ø„¸ LED ZEPPELIN „ø¤º°¨dont copy and paste

    ¸„ø¤º°¨ROCKS FOREVER!``°º¤ø„¸if you think

    ¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø„¸¨°º¤ø fan

this kinda coments is gay and anoying!

  • AWASOME!

  • i bought the dvd for my dad few years back.... i think ive watched it more times than him though

  • robert is soo gorgeous :D

  • yes!

  • "Everybody needs everybody." Come on, Robert, you know that's not strictly true!

  • You're a fag

  • haha

  • I did not like this song until I saw this DVD footage. It's an amazing song!

  • I didn't like this song until I heard it. Then I liked it.

  • bloody tight band heavy as hell though

  • now thats a rock band. hard, heavy, listen to that beat?. best rock band. man that just rocks.

  • jan 9th is my birthday im special!!!!

  • january 9th is also mr. page's birthday.

    aren't you special

  • ahhh that solo is classic jimmy!

  • man....john paul jones has the meanest bass chop ever....

  • JPJ fucking owned

  • I wish I could have been there, although I think I would have got a heart attack just from the sheer grooviness of it all. ; )

  • *giggles*

  • ON FIRE!!!

  • The band will be forever known for the pilots of the Led Zeppelin, and all of their passengers are their fans.. Even when the Zeppelin is made out of lead, it'll never crash, it'll just keep on flying higher and the more fans who decided to ride along make zeppelin heavier, but the heavier it gets, the higher it'll fly.. May the Zeppelin fly forever and never crash and burn. fly high, Led Zeppelin... fly high...

POST THIS ON EVERY LZ VIDEO IF YOU LOVE THE ZEPPELIN!

  • damn you are poetic...

  • does any one know the amp settings jimmy page has

  • no.

  • I believe he is playing with 100 watt Marshalls...perhaps one of the earlier gigs that he used them on. I think the main sound you hear on this concert is the Sola-Sound Tone Bender in conjunction with the middle or out of phase pick-up position for the rhythm chops...it is very muddy but works wondefully for this concert...just my opinion,I could be wrong:)

  • its a mixture of treble mid overdrived with the speaker volume a crackacly sorta sound well thats what work with me dont try it on a valve amp though or it will feedback and blow up

  • i wouldnt want to be a guitar player following jimmy on this song.

  • This is groovy and tight as hell! Amazing solo from Pagey!

  • Man, can Bonham play any more vigorously? His drums sound awesome on every track, but they're particularly awesome. Why did they wait till their outtake album to release this?

  • these days bands should listen and learn aboat this

  • Metal was born the moment Jimmy Page touched a Les Paul.

  • amen you got that right

  • agreed.

  • Led Zeppelin had always wanted to make a movie out of a concert and the Royal Albert Hall 1970 show was their first attempt, but they decided not to because the lighting was judged as not good. I guess so but I love this concert. I would have loved to have been there.

  • page has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much distortion on that guitar

  • i think they should hav kept this versions solo when they recorded this song on Coda. the solo on coda kinda sucks...

  • i think this is one of the greatest underrated songs of all time

  • i wrote this song

  • Purely the rockinest, grooviest most proficiently talented band ever put together.

I would have hated to be a headline act with Zeppelin as support in their early days, because with performances like this they would have blown every other band at the time of the face of the earth

  • They blew Iron Butterfly away in 1969! The fans were still chanting "Zeppelin! Zeppelin!" after Iron Butterfly had already played their first few songs, lol.

  • I am enamoured with Robert's voice-not bad for a pommy git with rotten british teeth at this time (precaps o course)a voice to fall in love with and great natural hair!I pay for the privilege of appearing blonde!Ha Ha!

  • this is the true rock

  • Yes this is..rough and raw....

  • bonzo is a legend

  • fuckin coolest song ever!!!!!!!led zep at early seventies were GODS BEST BAND EVER!!! LISTEN TO THE BASS-THE GUITAR-THE DRUMS AND THIS FUCKIN VOICE

  • Axl Rose has a voice too like that, but he doesn't sing too good... Only studio he sounds good, live he sucks! His voice is too strange to be unique... Hearing rap stars today, you don't know who's who... Normal singing voice is not good... Normal Good Singing voice is not unique... Stop being so selfish, your so... Arrogant...

  • Your are on the money - man. None other like em.

  • he's one of the greatest vocalist in the world, if you can sing better prove it... He can sing low, middle and high... And he can talk singing, which is rare, it's hard to do, talk, but sing at the same time to make it both... If you can do that good, because it's not rare... Scream beautifully for 20 seconds, like he did in the studio version of Kashmir... He's better than you, a unique singing voice is a voice when you hear them, you know it's them, like Ozzy, he has this eerie voice.

  • what did you do to prove your better than him, just cause you think that, you think it's true, you don't get it, if someone gets famous, it's because a lot of people like them... So you can't say anything you little shit...

  • What a masterclass, vocal, bass, guitar and drums. How do you follow that? I guess you don't or can't. All Hail the mighty Zep

  • True bonham beat at 1:47. Only he would come up with a beat like that. Best drummer of all time in my book. :) Thanks for posting this, I didnt feel like puting the dvd in... eh fuck it ill put it in anyways. :D

  • Ben E King, motherfuckers. Get down with it or get out!

  • Plant should've taken the path of Keith Richards. He's been way too sappy for the past 28 years. He needs to stay rockin'.

  • groovy

  • bonham is amazing on every track lol but this one is just insane. such a great song and groove and the foundation....BONHAM

  • bonham is amazing on this one

  • OSCA

  • this song is soo catchy...the live version though is wayy better then the version released on CODA

  • yeah the CODA version sounds like they recorded it in a tin can

  • you know they used the audio from this concert for coda

  • really? i never knew that...

  • yeah they just took out some parts and added some extra guitars

  • Sounds like they inly used the vocal track from here.

  • they used guitars but they overdubbed more guitars

  • led zeppelin is magical

    truely magical

  • This is git up and git going music, baby.

  • its cool cos this was never on an album until coda so it was completely new to the crowd i'm guess, what does everyone thing?

  • I love this, they can take any song they made, and turn it into whatever they want. They can make it heavier, lighter, smoother, etc. in concert. These are truly rock gods.

  • now that's CLASS !

  • this dvd is mandatory for people who like led zeppelin

  • or people that want to jump the band wagon right now, loser

  • Brilliant!!

    * * * * *

  • this is one of the best live performs i ever seen in my whole life

  • jonas who? gtfo and kill yourself

  • hahaha

  • im gonna go ahead and say your an orphan, seeing that you couldn't have anyone to tell you whats music when growing up...

  • that made no sense

  • well all im trying to say is that new music sucks and classic rock is the best

  • ohhh yeahhh

    this is the biggest secret

  • Is there anybody cooler than Jimmy Page on the face of this earth? I didn't think so.

  • John Paul Jones and Bonham are unbelievable!

  • Robert Plant: "Everyone needs everybody."

    Do they? Oh!

  • This ROCKS.

  • It's beyond amazement how Bonham's drum kit stayed in one place! It must have been bolted to the floor! LOL....The heaviest and most talented drummer in the world.

  • This vid has massive balls 100 million gazillion volts of kick ass rock n roll. All hail the mighty Zep

  • agreed

  • hell yeah

  • the solo must be pages best solo ever!! it beats white summer so hard...

  • on the album it's nothing like this. Page's solo were always more hardcore live. Still a sweet solo.

  • AMAZING TUNE!!!!!

  • and if you did no realize it, this is extremely fun to play on drums.

  • bahahahahahahaha really?

  • .............no.

  • pure energy!

  • screw the people who say led zeppelin sucks

  • do those people exist!???

  • hell yah! led zeppelin is the graetist

  • greatest...lol they KICK ASS

  • such a nice solo

  • this song is all john paul jones.

  • yes it is, the bass is crazzzzzyyyy

  • Page's guitar line was overdubed.

The Garden Tapes by Eddie Edwards writes so.

  • ur an idiot, i almost promise you they did not.
