  • How do you think this would compare to a Tuba Subwoofer?

  • @SingJiya If you're on a budget then go Tuba, the largest you can build loaded with the best drivers you can afford. If you have the cash then the Growlers are a great option.

  • as soon as people up to 2000 u will not here that

  • @kearneytyrone You're missing the whole point of this video.

  • The Triple 8 is mooving!

  • Hahaha that was funny, you just kept zoomin out. Crazy setup man, with just one channel too lol

  • wow!!

  • DAAYYYYUMMM!

LOL, I thought you were only going to zoom out about 20 meters.

I wish jeff would sell the plans so I could build one of the growlers.

  • What song is that playing?

  • @Techspert

The Edgar Winter Group - Frankenstein

(They Only Come Out At Night 1972)

  • This is GaFFle... Very impressive video! You're a good DJ and salesman :-)

  • Holy fucking shit LMAO!!!....That was awesome!!! You could have a concert there and everyone would hear it clearly from that distance!!!! LOL

  • Very impressive mate!

    What track are you playing?

  • LOL. Quite Impressive. I know JTR are powerful. But damn. This video says it all.

  • @djexclusivo131 and light.

  • YEAH BABY! That was spectacular. People buying speakers for home theater use that are looking at Paradigm's, B&W's, etc..., need to start looking at companies like JTR, Seaton and Danley. All three will embarass the entire consumer market. That was exceptionally impressive. How far were the speakers from the camera, and what levels were they hitting?

  • @dbuudo07 about the distance, I stopped counting after 275 feet but I still had a little more ways to go. A Lab Gruppen fp7000 was used and that's 2700 watts @ 4 ohms stereo. The Triple 8 took all of that power and was just tickling the clip lights.

  • @djbman81 Exceptional! Thanks for the response.

  • @dbuudo07 certainly for bass. A lot of PA speakers are a bit too bright/screechy for home use, unless you prefer that to the softer mellower (though usually less efficient) home stereo speakers. A good PA horn though for a subwoofer will give both tight and powerful bass.

  • I like how far you zoomed out with this video. I was thinking you were near the speakers and were gonna crank them up, but this demonstrates level better than a close range FAAAARRRRRTTTT FAAAAAARRRRTTT distorted camcorder sound.

  • Interesting.. :)

  • @MrNightro I read your post on dj forums. The signal source was coming from the warehouse behind the trees. We ran the cords through the bushes.

  • @djbman81

Yeah I spotted the cable & figured something along those lines was going on. So you planning on tradding in your four 08/09 Growlers for a pair of these babies (or maybe even trading in for a pair of the new up coming soon to be released in June, monster of a powered sub?).

  • @MrNightro i'm thinking about buying either 4 more growlers or 2 orbit shifters.

  • @djbman81

    @djbman81

The Growlers would be more modular & easier to maneuver on a one on one basis while the Orbit Shifter will for sure go much deeper. The extension you would get from 8 Growlers should be enough for any music type to tell the truth plus personally I would prefer the option of carrying just a pair of 86lbs subs for small gigs rather then carrying one large, heavy sub that I wouldn't even need the full potential of for smaller gigs.

  • @djbman81

Now if I was into doing drive in movies then the Orbit Shifter would be the way I would go no doubt, rattle the rims right off of peoples cars.

  • yo thats shit is dope i want one
