How is this for "coincidence"? The International Herald Tribune on 05/25/08 reported that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Admiral Mullen, has published an "unusual open letter" to the troops stating that "The U.S. military must remain apolitical at all times." Further, the article noted, members of the Joint Chiefs "have expressed concern about the influence of retired military officers."  The timing cannot be accidental.

Thanks Ella. I think what Admiral Fallon would do or at least be a part of, in the effort to prevent an attack on Iran and restore our Constitution, would pack a lot more punch than a press conference. I think the forces of good are hard at work and will reveal themselves in due time, at which point the media bosses will have to decide whether they want to stand on the side of truth and maintain a viable existence, or continue the fraud and relegate themselves to the dustbin of ugly history.

I actualy turned the tv on last night to check out the weathergirl. Somehow getting my news from the net seems to be an ocean compared to the puddle you get on Cable.

I've gotten to the point where I watch television so seldom that when I do actually turn it on, the signal emmitting from it is actually disturbing to feel.

Sometimes I can't turn it back off fast enough. I still watch C-span, but other than that I only watch an occasional movie once in a long while. I have 1 program I actually follow, and if I miss it I catch it online the next day.

As you say, there is an OCEAN of information on the internet.

I will say, however, that I don't think for a minute that Israeli society (as in all the everyday people there, just trying to function and get by, like you and me) is evil. I'm quite sure they have their share of partisan warmongering fools just like we do. But the biggest problem, just like here, is at the top of the government.

The problem is w/the orthodoxy in Israel who hold many positions of power in gov't & who believe that all of Palestine must be brought under Israeli control including East Jerusalem &, most importantly, that the mosque, The Dome of the Rock I believe, that sits on former site of King Solomans Temple, must be torn down so that Temple can be rebuilt thus ushering in the Coming of the Lord to rule Earth. This would no doubt enflame the mid-east. Thus, it needs to be pacified/disarmed first.
