@Faosify Its all based off Lucas' screenplay. Lucas even sent him a updated version with all of his notes & edits - it was all very detailed. Certain scenes were different like when Mace Windu & the 3 Jedi went to arrest Palpatine - the 3 were killed differently ( 2 were decapitated, 1 stabbed in the head - which was what he orginally intended by it was deemed too violent) Mace & Palpatine had a little philosphical discussion on him being a Sith ....
It went into greater detail behind the scenes of Mace vs Palpatine - it explained in more detail Mace's lightsaber combat form Vapaad & his shatterpoint ability, it explained the emotions going on.
It had some added scenes at the start with Dooku vs Anakin - like Dooku was made to believe it was all a plan to get Anakin to the darkside and that if Dooku lost - he'd make sure Anakin would spare his life. This scene was cut from the movie, as was him begging for mercy from the Chancelor

He clearly won that Force push vs. Force Lighting clash, but the fact was he was on the edge of the shuttle thing while Sidious was farther in, so when they got pushed out, Yoda went flying a few levels down while Sidious was able to hang from the shuttle.
As for Mace Windu, Sidious let him win to unwittlingly help turn Anakin bad.

Hell I think Anakin should have been crispy fried earlier on in the film to allow for a more interesting turn to the dark side. He basically was left there to burn to death. There's too much going on in the final fight, it's high paced and intense and at the same time they are fighting all over some huge river of lava whilst getting extremely lucky there is anything to stand on at all.

What a shame... Instead of displaying some true conflict, they just turned siths into mindless psychopaths. Couldn't they give some specific and virtuous vision of the world the siths fought for? It wasn't such a difficult thing, considering that the Jedi Galactic republic was bureaucratic despotism, and Jedi magistrate maintained direct control over the force users, the army, intelligence, and to some degree - the Senate itself. Quite a considerable power (which as they told, corrupts).

@timfidotru Because thats reasonable and actually a good idea. The prequels are an inverted bell curve of suck. Hell I think Anakin should have been crispy fried earlier on in the film to allow for a more interesting turn to the dark side. He basically was left there to burn to death. Wouldn't it have been nice to have seen him become so bitter from this, the betrayal of the man who could almost he his father. A plot thread that could have lasted the whole film, rather than stuck onto the ending

There's too much going on in the final fight, it's high paced and intense and at the same time they are fighting all over some huge river of lava whilst getting extremely lucky there is anything to stand on at all.
It's too much and takes away from what should be a really important and poignant fight and actually, with too much action going on, is very boring.

Darth Sidius was powerful when he had the Kyber crystal and was stronger than DB when he died but Bane was the most powerful when he was at his strongest using his orbalisk armor. George Lucas confirmed that Darth Bane is the Sith'ari. He was the only perfect being to ever live and was the ultimate Sith.

@TheLanMandragoran I don't think you can count the orbalisk armour in an argument over who was more powerful. Bane lost to his apprentice in the end, ergo Darth Zannah would be more powerful than Bane. Which is all moot because Sidious would have decked Bane anyway. Obi wan>Anakin>Sidious>Yoda>Windu>everyone else.

Zannah only killed Bane because Bane was using a spell and she turned it against him. He tried to steal her body. George Lucas confirmed that Bane is the most powerful Sith ever. He is the Sith'ari. There is only one Sith'ari and that is Bane. Bane chosen Sith, Anakin chosen balancer, Luke chosen Jedi. According to Lucas.
