Susan had the shock factor. She wasn't very attractive and didn't have much of a story to tell. Her voice was a surprise, but wasn't amazing imo.

1- I can't believe that the jury doesn't know the background of the people. It would be just retarded.
2- The boy's story sounds like a Ken Loach movie. It looks like Koreans saw Paul Potts and said, ok, we can make up a more miserable character.

I don't think he can be compared to Susan Boyle.
Susan had the shock factor. She wasn't very attractive and didn't have much of a story to tell. Her voice was a surprise, but wasn't amazing imo.
Sung-bong, on the other hand, is different. He has a story. His voice is beautiful, elegant and comes from the soul. You can actually feel the passion in his voice, which is why it makes it so moving.
