I have to say one of my favorite Anime Openings would be the second Opening of Soul Eater... Even though they strayed from the manga and the entire series went down hill after the first season. Also, the Opening for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni has an amazing opening; and I have to agree Yoko Kanno is FRIGGIN Amazing especially the songs she composed with Origa.

Too bad "Lucky Star"'s opening sequence is the most interesting and entertaining part of the show.

Personally, I would've swapped that for "Azumanga Daioh". Not only is it a better high school comedy, the music and sound effects from Azumanga illicit Pavlovian reactions in anime fans these days.

I agree almost completely, but Eva at #1 isn't exactly deserved in my opinion. Yes it was incredible and set a higher bar for other studios to match, but all this was "for its time." By modern standards it's horribly, horribly generic, and this should be a notable minus.

I don't know how deeply he delves for his candidates, but I'm saddened not to find any Kurozuka in there. Crank your base and give some consideration.

no, it's not nostalgia, the newer pokemon stuff just simply isn't good. The dub isn't good and it doesn't help that now even in the original version the stories aren't as meaningful or memorable.

Elfin lied at first made me think...what... then it started to look good and i got addicted to the theme.
