i agree with you didnt get entered in b&c the only reason why is b&c does not accept velvet coverd horns if the velvet was stripped off it would have been entered in b&c it scored 207 non typ you can enter archery killed deer in b&c
hmmm well i all ways tought pope and young was for archers only hard to find the info on that any way i would trow my bow at it and run out of the woods na lol
most land owners that have guided hunts there have these deer in their breeding programs. NOT WILD and i would waste my time hunting this deer cause its on a breeding ranch,
yes i know i hunt there but alot of land owners that offer guided hunts use deer like this for breeding in their herd. i was saying that this deer is a brood buck.
Ive never hunted in sask before but i have hunted long enough to know that you cant go anywhere and expect to see a deer of this size on a regular basis. Ive seen enough videos to know that you can sit for days on end in sask and maybe only see a couple deer.
are you an idiot? have you ever hunted any where other than the states it is not normal to see deer like that every day come hunt in sask and see for your self it is nothing like hunting on a deer farm.
Saskatchewan - Alberta have way bigger deer both in body size and antlers then mid west us. And The only reason you think that you have bigger deer is because any deer in the us shot over 165 is put in a mag. so everyone can see it just because we dont have all our deer in magazines... i kno guys who shoot 150- 200's every year they dont brag about it because its not that un usual to get one like it is in the u.s.
commenting on the guy who says the us midwest have bigger racks - i really believe Saskatchewan and Alberta would rate higher - there are more deer than people...a lot less hunters in Canada...our provinces our bigger than the state of texas - midwest bucks are big but I know for a fact there are so many deer in Sask - Alberta that the by just pure numbers our racks have be bigger by average....sorry USA...great discussion...we love our american brethern up here...
hey tripleizer thats kind of funny of you to say that....how many world record bucks have been shot from canada? i can only think of one and that was the milo hansen typical...but look at the midwest almost every year a buck either typical or non-typical comes close to breaking the world record...idk ive been born and raised in the midwest and the racks that come from this region are by far the biggest natural grown racks around...but canada does have the body size for deer

CeehowUR: There are no Carribou in Banff, just Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Elk, Mountain Goats, Moose, and Big Horn Sheep.

Anyone who doesnt agree is just plain silly!!!!!!!

Is that a 12 or 10????
AndrePrev 4 years ago
Record whitetails are found in many places. Actual geography doesn't dictate rack size. Food supply and nutrients do. Prideful morons.
Geebster1 4 years ago
It shouldn't matter - mid-West, Saskatchewan, for all I care Russia ... it's about recording the deer folks ... the DEER.
And this one is absolutely terrific. Good on ya' whomever the hunter was.
