1) No one is debating the fact that solar radiation and geothermal energy heat the Earth; however, these two factors do not cool the Earth with an increase of their presence. A diminishing of these two factors can cause cooling, but we are not seeing a general cooling trend.
Solar variation runs in an eleven year cycle and the general trend is measured by the peaks; the peaks of the last 3 cycles has shown a decrease in solar radiation at the same time that we have seen a general increase in temperature. The two hottest years on record (1998 and 2005) were not at the peaks of the solar variance cycle, with 2005 at the low end of the cycle.
Solar variation is the most important factor of the Earths warmth, it accounts for 97% (geothermal accounts for the remaining 3%). Solar variation can also cause warming trends, however, as stated above no correlation has been drawn between recent solar variation and the present warming trend.
2) Greenhouse gases trap solar radiation in the Earths atmosphere creating the greenhouse effect. This is a good thing because without the atmosphere trapping sunlight we would not have life.
In the times before the industrial revolution the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere was just about perfectly suited to the life that had adapted to it; but since that time humans have been increasing levels of greenhouse gases, creating a thicker atmosphere and trapping more sunlight.
There has been a correlation drawn between rising CO2 levels and the warming trend that we have seen since the 1970s. CO2 levels are double what they were in the 70s, comprising 0.02% of the atmosphere then and 0.04% today.
. Much of this CO2 increase has been caused by human activities that emit CO2, such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, raising livestock, etc. This has been enough additional carbon dioxide to thicken the atmosphere, trap more heat, and cause a warming trend.
3) You even say Mt St. Helens kicked out more soot and CFCs than humanity has generated in total. Add the rest of the volcanos and it's exponential. Does this signify that you do believe CO2 warms the atmosphere?
4) If we pick apart that above quote, we will find that you were only correct on one thing and that is the fact that volcanoes emit greenhouse gases. CFC's (chlorofluorocarbon's) are man-made chemicals, which means it is impossible for volcanoes to emit them. HCL and CH3CL are the two natural sources of natural stratospheric chlorine, but they only account for 15% of the total, the rest are anthropogenic.
5) The exponential volcano emissions claim is invalid because the number of volcanoes is not increasing at an exponential rate. Furthermore, the total emissions from volcanoes are estimated to average just 0.3 Gt of CO2 each year, which amounts to just one-hundredth of human emissions. Also, when compared to previous and succeeding years, no significant gain in atmospheric CO2 accumulation was seen in 1980.
6) It's not just about us, it's about biodiversity. Because of deforestation destroying natural habitats and causing desertification, the plastic pollution in the oceans, climate change, toxic chemicals in e-waste and hazardous materials, and are massive world population that extrapolates all of these problems we are causing extinction at 1,000 times the natural rate.
Plants and animals simply cannot adapt, causing an estimated 140,000 species to go extinct every year. Without humans it would be around 140 per year. The preventable and permanent loss of species that we have not yet discovered is truly one of the most saddening aspects of all.
7) I would include the URL's for this information, but youtube doesnt allow URLs in comments; if so inclined you can email me for the sources (all of the facts are from studies by government and educational institutions). And remember, science is your friend :)
this is just fearmongering

Don't criticize what you can't understand. And FALSE religion? As if any religions were true, just more supporting evidence that your a dumb ass.

"pgdevil" rather says it all, thanks.
The SUN and some geothermal forces HEATS (and cools) planet earth.
What parts of that do you not get?
Mt St. Helens kicked out more soot and CFCs than humanity has generated in total. Add the rest of the volcanos and it's exponential.
The planet copes and changes splendidly.
We, on the other hand, cannot change it and have to adapt to it.
END of story.

Well this pretty much epitomizes my point that you do not understand what you're attempting to disprove.

However, a super volcano, such as the one at Yellowstone National Park, would have the potential to increase Co2 levels dramatically.
