Obviously I don't condone massive immigration to more developed nations, because yes, they are forced to adapt to an unsustainable infrastructure (dependent on fossil fuels and materialist consumer culture). SO, the US has no chance to reduce carbon emissions while MATERIAL CONSUMPTION CONTINUES TO GROW, which it has to under the current capitalist economy.

Even in nature, overcrowding & overpopulation causes major problems. The whole point about immigration, or even the legal fictions of state, provincial, or national boundaries, means absolutely nothing in a globalized economy.
