Here's my question: who gave themselves the right to declare a country where there already was one? Oh, right..the Zionists. Modern day Nazis. Before the "birth" of Israel, Muslims, Christians and Jews lived together in peace. But that wasn't good enough for the Zionists...now there's been over half a century of bloodshed b/c they couldn't understand why those pesky Palestinians just wouldn't roll over and give up their homeland.

Ok. Things are hard for the Palestinians. I understand this. But, none of this would have ever happened had the Palestinians accepted the 1947 UN partition plan, which gave them all of the Gaza strip, the West Bank and a lot of what is now Israel. They could have had control over their own borders. There wouldn't have needed to be any checkpoints.

That is my question.
