Always loved this song. Went to see her at Peppermint Lounge and hung out with her backstage while she gave herself insulin injections. Turned out, the gal I took with me was an au pair from London living in Mineola and Mari was also an au pair and lived in Mineola. Small world. Mari Wilson introduced an entire post-punk pop generation to classic songstress tunes.
