actually georgia brown only has hers sounding more annoying because those are her low whistles she sings, the lower the more clear since mariah can actually only go up to D7 (in this is it was G#7 due to her being sick during the concert) since her range isn't as big it sounds more smooth all in all whistle notes don't damage your chords unless done right. also since georgia can go to G10 (3 octaves above the piano.) the higher she goes the more smooth it should get.

This is an incredible accomplishment: those super high notes (dolphin like squeaks) at the end of the song. I think she might have been a bit hoarse that day as some of the vocals were not as round and rich as one would have liked to hear but nevertheless she probably broke a record at the song with the extreme high pitch. The Arsenio Hall version is my favourite live one.

She is definitely tired here. Her whistle in those days was usually MUCH clearer and powerful than it is now. She also had a fewer notes back then at the top of her whistle and definitely more agility. You can tell she's not 100% because she laughs at herself when she's in that range; she know how rough it sounds.

Fyi to all the people that are watching this that the last note she hits is a G#7. Her highest note ever performed or on a record. It has been said in interviews that she can go higher but, G#7 is the highest thats been hit. This performance was in 1992. The highest shes going sence than was E7. (The was in studio).
