So the Michaels in El Cajon closed...my hubby use to be the manager there back in 2007/2008 before he moved up to the one in Vista...he quit them 3 years ago...he always had a problem with the employees there.
Great haul tho...thanks for sharing even tho it's months later.

@MimziesWimzs Thanks for the comment and watching the video. I worked for a 24/7 copy center for 15+ years so I know about the stressors of retail. I really do have to get myself in the right frame of mine to go to Michaels. I hope your husband finds a job that is fulfilling!

The Michaels closest to me is the worst run. Everyone gets ticked off there, long lines, too much stuff infront of the register area, etc. I get mad just thinking about it. lol Glad you got some good deals anyway! ::)

I think they don't have price scanners because people would know that stuff was marked down to a penny and the employees never pulled the stuff off the sales floor like they're supposedly supposed to do instead of selling it. Well, they sell it to everybody else for a penny, just not me. Oh well, we keep shopping there, right? Thanks for sharing. Sounds like the penny thing ticks you off too...

I agree! Michaels should get personal price scanners, the price on the tag is never really what the price is. (And you could snag all of the penny items if your lucky enough to find one!)

I just recently brought that topic up with a Michaels associate regarding the price scanners and they said that it has been something Michaels has been pondering for about a year now.....so, atleast we know it's been a thought, just when will it become a reality...who knows!

@ANGELAH7030. I was actually going to a LSS that was closing. :( But they didn't have the sale ready to go, so I went around the corner to discover Michaels closing. I have two Michaels near my work and home so I am still going to shop there but hope they get price scanners. thanks for watching
