  • I don't know about the Truck driving song, but Another one rides the bus is a parody of "Another one bites the dust" by Queen

  • You picked a pretty funny one considering all the rest are actually parodies. That's "Truck Drivin' Song," an original song he did in the style of country truck driving songs.

  • Oh cool, Finally I know that now ;)

These songs are among my favorite and thought people would think they were funny in the presentation ;) They are also songs that are easy to find pics to.

I think also that they are songs that people know or will like in first listen :) out of all his songs, I have tons of personal favorites though :P

  • Truck Driven' song was original by Weird Al

  • another one rides the bus-another one fights the dust(Queen) :)

  • It's a parody of "I got my mind set on you" By George Harrison :)

  • I want to say, the Truck Drivin' Song has always sounded to me like it was someone else, then I did a little research, and it is from his album "Running with scissors"! :)

  • Very nicely done. For a fellow fan of "W"AY I think you did a fantastic job on this presentation.

  • weird al is a genious!!!!!

  • Weird Al is the shiz....

  • He copies songs what a meanie

    but they are kinda funny)

  • Do you get permission to do those parodies?

Yes,I do get permission from the original songwriters. While the law supports my ability to parody without permission, it's very important to me to try to maintain the relationships I've built with artists and writers over the years. Thankfully, most artists seem genuinely flattered to get the"Weird Al treatment."Some groups (including Nirvana) have publicly stated that they didn't realize that they had really"made it"until they heard my parody!

  • SWEEEEET!!!!!!

    Weird al has a myspace?

  • yes, the name in the url is weirdal :)

  • since when does weird al have his own show?

  • From Answers com ->"The Weird Al Show was a short-lived television show starring "Weird Al" Yankovic. Produced in association with Dick Clark Productions, it aired Saturday mornings on the CBS TV network from September to December 1997."

  • What's the name of the song at the very end?

  • It's the Weird Al show theme song, the TV show.

  • looool, I had to laugh so much when I heard the George Harrison's song parody "This song is just six words long" cause before that I was stoned and listened to the original and I thought "Is that song repeats one sentence for the last hours or I am soooo stoned", it was a relief when I heard Al Yankovic' song, it was really repeating one and the same.. A greats music, anyway!
