Because the color blue can sometimes get mixed up with white, but if he says red, he is a total idiot, there is a huge gamma difference between red and white.

Just a little constructive criticism (I hope you don't mind ><):

I think that the snare drum needs to have a bit more 'pop' (its far too easy to tell that it's a drum machine, there are better snare drum samples out there if you feel like putting together your own drum track). Also, just make them a tad louder, although from your comment it sounds like that isn't your fault, so whatever.

Lastly, I would personally make the bass a bit louder, but that's a subjective thing.

Overall, fantastic!

@thatguywhopwnzu I appreciate the constructive comments :) I agree with them also. I mixed it with my comp speakers, monitor speakers are a bit pricey for the amount I would use them, so the mix I did was probably off from the start. When I converted it to mp3 it got even more compressed so the drums and bass are really lacking. I think the mp3 from the DL link sounds slightly better than on here but if I were to go back I would change those things you mentioned.

@ex3vious I recorded it with Sonar Cakewalk 6. The guitar I used was a G&L Legacy strat. I did the drums with a drum machine plugged straight into my sound card (Audigy). I use a Digitech GNX 3 pedal for the guitar (4 guitar tracks in total). I have a crap bass i just plugged straight into the sound card also. I edited it and mastered with Sonar. The drums seemed to be too quiet in the mix though, it changed when i converted the song to mp3.

That is easy to do, download the song, rename to gamestartup1.mp3

go to the sound folder in tf2

then into the ui folder (if you don't have one, make it)

then whenever that song happens to be the one to play up on start up it should play it.
