  • Dude clean the record! haha...sweet tune.

  • @GrandFunker Hey Grand Funker how the hell are ya' ? :)

  • @fabianstraregy Pretty groovy, thanks!

  • For some goofy reason I thought that this was a Chicago tune and so I have every Chicago tune that there is :) It could only have been that I remembered the music only and not the words plus the horns have a Chicago "sound" to them. The right music/work of art can bring inner peace to one . This one did that for me,what with the threat nuclear annihilation, the Vietnam war and a degree of racism in the the NAVY.So I was quite sustained by this beautiful music. Thanks G Strong Raw. fabian strategy

  • All man I use to play my drums to this as a kidd.

  • Mandrill was so good at creating cool, Afro-Latin grooves like this

  • it's not Latin at all, but very Afro, deep jungle and beautiful. I could care less about how they categorize, essentially African music as Jungle because it is what it is, beautiful and tropic.

  • This group was big in New York back in the day....they are from Panama..and the group consist of three brothers (the Wilson brothers) and a friend Clauld Coffee Cave on organ. The lead singer was actually a doctor at Harlem Hospital...some knowledge for your musical ass...lol I was so into them...saw them at the Apollo a few times & at Randalls island back in the 70's when they gave concerts there...

  • @TheJimieray69 Dude they were huge nationwide . I'm from Cincinnati and that ain't NewYork .

  • man , that was my high school joint 1975 i turned my cousin on to this track , he blew a few tokes of panamanian red and rocked himself to sleep on this

  • Yeah baby ! And it was SOLID !!

  • Aw wow...my fave song from the baddest group man! and with all the competition they had back then, they still outshined a lot of groups...

  • Can u hear the islands with mother Africa grooving underneath/ it's trully one and so are we, dig "quantum mechanics" we were born 2 b alive!
