I wouldn't stress the fact that your headline doesn't fit in the default visible region. What you should do though is zoom out a bit with the mousewheel (autozoom off) and see what the user will be able to make out after they read your headline.
People adjust to large fonts by adjusting their attention to look at larger features. If a user looks at your headline, they're likely to be in this "large feature" mode, affecting the next action
