no, rock lee is alive and kicking...literally in most cases but you get the idea. He's just had an arm and a leg horribly shattered and multiple chips of backbon driven into his spinal column. somone like Lee if they die its gonna be for someone a damn sight tougher than Gaara

ok my bro went crazy and watched all the Naruto eps and I saw all the Lee and Gaara ones. Lee lives after Tsunade fixes him up and then he runs off forgeting his medicine and getting Sake instead and fights kimimaru beast of the bones and when he was losing Gaara came in starts kicking some major ass and saves lee from getting SERIOUSLY hurt from Kimimaru's tail with a sand barrier kills Kimi and whoo best friends! THE AND! (love saying THE AND!)
rock lee is the best,.. maybe if he fought with other ninja and not gaara, im sure its an overkill battle for rock lee,..
he lost just because gaara is have the beast, that protects him,..

Fought vs Kimmi for a bit. That was the last(cannon) time before Shippuden. Might have been another fight in Shippuden but I don't really follow..
