people are forgetting that Utada is completely Bi-cultural... this is the one and exodus may have deviated from her Japanese work's content, but keep in mind that her English Albums shows what is American about her same goes for her Japanese stuff, so yes there will be very different, because of the cultural influences from an artist on both ends of the world, concluding what may or what Utada did in this has to be fairly analyzed and this song does not represent the totality of the album..
