The movie tanked 'cause "Avatar" was released around the same time. And what made "Avatar" such a special film? A must-see?

The 3-D. And now nearly every other picture is coming out with the whole 3-D gimmick. Yes, the only thing in "Avatar" we hadn't seen before was that damn 3-D. 3-D was never like that. If only "Surrogates" had the 3-D.... Ah, well.

Huh. Now Mr. Max "Fantasy-Land Football" is a filmmaker. Hope he makes another one.

"Surrogates" is a sci-fi action thriller based on a comic book. A picture in the tradition of "Blade Runner," "The Matrix" and "Extistenz"... not trying to show a hi-tec idealistic paradise, but a possible techno-hell-on-Earth. I'ma gonna check it out.

To all the people who don't like this movie. I'm willing to bet you loved the new Star Trek. This movie is way better & has a valuable message if you just pay attention. This is nothing like I Robot. The only thing it has in common with I Robot is it has one of it's actors. As for predictability, if you follow any mystery closely enough you will solve some of it before the hero does. Good example is "The 6th Since" I had a friend who figured out the surprise ending half way through the film.

Honestly I actually liked this movie and to me it is like a combination of 'The Sims,2,3', 'Uglies', and 'The Matrix'. It was great to watch and sure there were some 'boom' moments but that's all part of the movie.

And honestly, I would actually watch the movie again and recommend it to someone. So what I would rate this 8.5

Man after watching this movie this movie, this reminds me of Fallout 3. It reminds me of Fallout 3 because there is one mission called Tranquility Lane in the game has the same concept of the movie. If you play Fallout 3 you might see some resemblance to the movie.

This movie was descent. The tone was too tacky while the humor was too shallow. It had something going but fails to live up to itself. In the end nothing seems to be clear and you feel betrayed by the trailers. Without Bruce, this won't even make a 5 in my book
