i suck at making mantions.. i run out of ideaas for rooms and furniture. haha..

What drives me to make my houses is "oh! my sims will live in this sweet house and.. yeah"

But if i don't cheat.. i have to deal with the needs, skills, blablabla for 900,000 days before i have the money lol.

And above that, when i think about it, having a sweet house for your sims isnt really... you know.. all you ever do is refine skills, eat, and watch tv. :P

i like the feeling "hey, i made this" tho.

I have an odd suggestion-- have you ever tried incorporating European architecture into your designs? I mean, like have a kitchen with the main color scheme being brown and black, and have a rich wood floor, with all the decoration being warm colors, such as oranges and reds, then balance it out with a bit of blue somewhere in it. :D
